Sorry. But a "balanced diet" doesn't make a hard-gainer put on 10lbs of muscle in a few months. Or a year, even. Or ever.
BTW, what the hell is a balanced diet, anyway? It's such an ambiguous term. And if you mean calorically balanced, then, well...there's no way you
can gain muscle without consuming more calories than you're burning...which is the opposite of balanced.
