Nice to see you Kdial, missed you.

Although I tend to lean a bit right (go Ron!) Kucinich is someone I truly respect, were it not for his stance on the 2nd Amendment, I could even support the guy.

Nader as well.

I respect these guys because they are not sellouts, not owned by some corp. and vote their
(constituents) beliefs, regardless of popularity.

I'm disappointed Kucinich did not mention full legalization of competition to the US dollar. I don't trust the US Treasury department to do a whole lot better job than the Federal Reserve. I'm to expect the US Treasury will issue direct loans to people with perfect credit at the same 0.5% they charge banks? I don't expect that. So to me that isn't good enough. Focusing on competition in the currency marketplace is the only solution that I can be sure will actually work to change things for the better. Counting exclusively on the US Treasury department to solve our economic problems is a bad idea.

An even better case would be if they both made the primaries of their respective parties. Could you imagine the election being between Kucinich and Dr. Paul? For once, we wouldn't be choosing the lesser of the evils. I would actually be happy even if the guy I voted for didn't win.

I agree with you but as you said it he “talks the talk”. They all talk the talk, they all say what we like to hear. Action is now needed if he feels what he said then he would act, alone if necessary. The suit and tie he wears you paid for along with his $15.00 bowl of oatmeal he ate this morning. He is part of the problem along with ALL like him. Leftwing, rightwing its the same bird. We need to unite, your very right, but fat is fat and its time to trim it. We must stand up and I and countless others are ready to stand beside you, not in front or behind. The playing field needs levelling for the good of all. That flag needs relevance again not lies and greed. Let us take it back for what it stands for.

The mainline Globalists actually most likely funded and organized (Soros etc) the initial stages of this event, and also paid the cops to beat the crowd up a little bit to generate attention (to raise taxes as the solution-austerity). This has been discussed at length around these parts. info about the Soros-Rothschild connections

However, this is an opportunity. Think about it.
We have the capability to hijack this astroturf movement and turn it into something real and meaningful.

Just imagine that. The people hijacking TPTB's fake movement and turning it into a real one that focuses on TPTB and refuses to let them distract us with decoys.
Agreed,2manyquestions I would love to see the movement be turned on it's ear and taken from the plants.

Agreed. I don't know what Kucinich is all about, but I also remember what happened to the Tea Party when the Republican politicians joined in. Will Democrats try to take over the "Occupy _______ movement" like Palin and the others took over the Tea Party? Whenever there's big trouble in the streets, the politicians always know when it's time to "join in" and put on the "I'm one of you, go you, great job!" masks.

This guy isn't talking from his heart, he's just another Obama. Says one thing, and when he's in office ... he'll do something else.

How many of you noticed, that Obama gave the crowd the finger during his victory speech????

What he says is true, every word of it. But he's speeking out of fear, not for what he wants. What went wrong, is the enormous privatisation that has been made. The outsourcing to India, China ... we, the entire western world, is close to our death beds. Literally. Very SOON, and I mean VERY SOON. China is not going to make things cheap any more ... price of medicine will sky rocket. And you can't take over the production either, because it's been outsourced so heavily your actually dependent on them. So are we, here in Europe. When the prices go up, it won't hurt the rich ... it'll hurt us, and countries like the US, this will make the middle class all but dissappear. When that happens, we'll be living in a police state ... we're already getting there, fast. We can be arrested, without cause, we can be jailed, without legal cause ... we can dissappear, and there isn't a God damn thing you can do about it. When this happens, the people working for the rich, will want to keep their jobs ... rather than join you or me ... the poor people, unemployed, without a future.

IFF we're lucky, this will turn into violence ... everyone says "no violence", but that is a no brainer. Because only violence will bring down those who made these policies. Do you REALLY think, that the policy makers will change their policies? Do you REALLY think, they're sending all the production out to India and China, because they're afraid of a few protesters on wall street? They'll do what they can to silence you, they'll even give you CARROT to eat ... but it will only be a CARROT, and YOU ARE THE DONKEY.

We need a leader, someone who has ideaology and is willing to go against everything, even to his own death for it ... someone like Martin Luther King. But the government has made damn sure you won't get anyone, because if anyone of that caliber rises, he is discriminated, alienated and criminalized right at the beginning. So, this will not happen ... the only other alternative you have, is iff violence breaks out, and the REST OF THE NATION will march out to the streets, in sympathy. And that that, will turn out to not just be a tea party ... but an entire wave of revolutionary change, that will bring down the policy makers who have made millions of people unemployed.

That is your only hope, for real success.

In a few years, it will be too late ...

It is sad just how many people will read your intelligent and true message and then conclude that you are a "commie!" The people are so brainwashed to keep this corrupt system going that they don't even know it. that they spew the BS they've been taught while complaining about the system that taught it to them. Oh the irony!

Oh and as for all the teleprompter putdowns.. everyone uses a prompter. Dennis obviously didn't take a lot of time to memorize and rehearse his speech, (which makes it even more honest to me,) but the real problem you are noticing and somehow turning into a mini conspiracy theory all on it's own is that his prompter speed was set too slow. That's all it was guys.. no mystery there.

You've obviously never heard Kucinich speak before. He's always been talking about this stuff and seriously championing it in Congress. He usually can't get his bills actually voted on because they get killed before they ever get out of committee or the Speakers (from both parties) would kill it by not calling for a vote on it (that's one of the more vast powers the Speaker of the House has...).

I agree. Just because a person has a different domestic agenda doesn't mean they are corrupt or evil. I personally want the type of government advocated by Ron Paul, but at this point I might be content with the government advocated by Kucinich. There is nothing wrong with finding ways where our people benefit from the decision of government. However, both Kucinich and Paul understand that the people are not benefiting from our current system. Perhaps if the monetary system was returned to the people, there might be a whole lot less government handouts. I would support a massive domestic spending agenda over a massive world wide conquest. At least the benefits would be seen at home, and people might benefit as a result. This banking situation though is horrible for the people on average.

I want what Ron Paul wants as well. Some thoughts are scary, but in the end they are measures that must be taken.
Government and all the social programs need to be reigned in. Waste and fraud need to be ended. Income tax needs to end and the tax breaks for corporations need to end. All the money spent by the Federal Government should be for the purposes outlined by their responsibility in the Constitution and no more. Our military needs to be in America unless we declare war as a nation. The 2 party system needs to end. No more party affiliations or donations. No more lobbying "Donations" to politicians or govt employees/agencies. No more FED. A national bank controlled by the people which is fully audited annually. Full disclosure on aliens and all secret programs. No more "Backup Government" in bunkers with the power to start wars.

These are my ideas and I am sure most people agree. I would also think that most people are scared of change because they are not in their comfort zone, but times will get tough even if we do nothing. The ball is in motion and the slope only gets steeper from here to the bottom.

This is a great idea and exactly this team of Kucinich/Paul or Paul/Kucinich is exactly the kind of reformers needed at exactly the right time. I think the time is now for them to do it. Why now?

A few years ago at a Republican convention Dick Cheney made a remark about the "presidency being too big for one man".

I'd trust these guys would work as a team for 4 years. It will take longer than 4 years to lay the ground work and 4 more years to make it work. And then they have elections for the next "team".....
