The Examiner!

That's about as FAKE as you can get...I've seen pictures on the cover of the Examiner saying Elvis is alive with Tupac in Madagascar. Don't believe anything they print

Interesting!!!

Except I doubt that it was 'time travel'

more like Ancient Aliens, in my opinion. (An advanced race of beings here long ago)

I would think if there was someone timetraveling, and they left there future camcorder on one of there trips that not only are they going to be ticked off that they have to pay for a new one, but Im sure that there has to be some time of Time Travel Enforcement Agency ( I should patent that) that would have a huge problem with this.

If this tape has any Egyptian chicks making the duck face or with tramp stamps, then I'll know who to blame for are current societal failures...

Wouldn't any camcorder found be of unseen future technology and of the same time that time travel was discovered/achieved? What I'm saying is, if it's a model from anywhere between now and when camcorders were first created it's b.s. (not that it isn't just b.s. on its own). I just wanted to poke a hole in, from outside the box.

Anyway, still keeping fingers crossed for retro, sci fi-noir future.

Edit: After seeing the source and video.. I regret commenting on such a dumb thread. No offense OP.

Egypt timetravel shocker: camcorder found in Egyptian tomb

m.examiner.com

On Wednesday, October 5, 2011, a new video surfaced online that reportedly shows amazing images of a video camcorder that was found within a burial tomb in Egypt. The camcorder was allegedly sealed within a 2,000 year old canopic jar. Canopic jars were commonly used in Egypt during the mummification process and contained the organs of the deceased. Could this discovery at Giza be proof of the existence of time travel?
(visit the link for the full news article)

It was put there by SG1. Go look it up on startgate.

It looks more like a mini R2D2 from Star Wars than a camcorder.

Never heard of that flick. Is it any good?

Trailers always entice, and movies disappoint me. Mostly

If it's a betamax video camera I'll believe it 110%.

NO ONE has any of those laying around anymore!

I'd kinda like to know if the camera lens was a Carl Zeiss... Also I heard it was not found in an Obe Wan Kanobic jar but rather in tupperware ;O

hmmm... I do love that this made the news but I'm going to have to vote hoax. The camcorder doesn't appear to be very sophisticated technology, if it's really from the future I'd expect something a bit more sleek. And why seal it in a canopic jar?

An ancient Egyptian practical joke, someone removed the liver from the jar and replaced it with a rectangular object, probably inscribed with something like: "I was here 210 B.C" or maybe "IOU one liver"

Surely there's an easy way to debunk. Develop the film.
