Why You All Seem To Bash USA's Power!?

yes im an american, and id like to know why so many of you bash the usa's strength- alotof posters on this site say the usa cant handle a war with anything other than an 3rd world nation, where they fail to see usa military supremecy globally-and that the war in iraq is not a real war but an effort to win the hearts and minds and yada of the iraqis-where if it was a major conflict like ww2- we would use our bombing capacity to fullest-i jus dont understand, maybe you could explain why you think the usa cant stand a major war- is it because of Vietnam- or cuz the usas army is stretched to thin or becuz its only 1millionn, what is it?

I dont believe i've seen anyone on here "bash" the USA's military power but are just realistic about what the US can do with it.

What I have seen though is US citizens have unblinding faith in the strength of their military and after many decades of spoon-fed propaganda also believe that the US is simply indomitable in todays military environment.

I can tell your on the young side, so you may not personally remember much of past wars...but look around your nation.....we are failing...you just have to open your eyes and see.....

I don't know enough about our military to know its actual stregnth, but even if we did have the power, it doesn't mean we should use it.

USA is hopeless in case of nuclear war...

We are the worlds greatest power. Lately we've been abusing this power.

To win the hearts and mind of the Iraguis?? By WHAT?? Bombing the living crap out of them?? We may be a world SuperPower but we SURE as hell arent using it for any good.

sadly- we havent been bombing the crap out of them as much as we could be, and theres no spoon fed proaganda about anything, i barely hear things about our army, except to get you to join, thats it, besides that i have heard alot of people saying things about how the usa cant hold its own against another power... we arent abusing anything- iraq? r u kidding me? they hadit coming for a decade- not abiding by sanctions and lead by a pyshco dictator-its about time we went in there, (think of how better off the people are now, and will be after the reconstruction) "I can tell your on the young side, so you may not personally remember much of past wars...but look around your nation.....we are failing...you just have to open your eyes and see....." buddy, we are not failing, if you mean by not having france, and germany being our friends, then i dont see what your problem is, we dont need them but thats besides the point- the usa is doing fine, although we could do with a higher active military number, id say closer to 2 million, and yes megaquad, we all know that we are hopeless in nuclear war, every 1 is.. although we have that sort of missile defense, that although isnt near 100% is better than nothing id say....

Sadly?? Dude you have some problems. Your saying we should be bombing innocent Iraquis MORE?? What if you lived there? What if you were being bombed over false claims? Would you really think that we werent bombing you enough??

we arent bombing them cuz we're trying to win their hearts and minds, and im not 15 so dont use personal type attacks. you are probably a liberal, well can i ask you, should we jus let those guerillas in civilian clothing continue to capture and be head innocent people and murder our troops in bombings and drive by attacks and the such, or should we bomb them and stop all this crazyness... false claims bul l sh it, enought with the reasons for the war, we are at war and theres nothing u can do, we have to end it and supress this rebellion s hi t and if it means more bombing, then yes, we have to bomb them..

No it's not pointless, but it is a political debate topic and not chit chat so it will be moved accordingly. Also because posting inflammatory topics in chit chat just to garner points to get into Political Debate is not a good route.

B) ImAmerican - if these guerilla in civilian clothing, as you say, end up being 50 percent of the population pissed off because the U.S. invaded their country, what do you do? Bomb them till the only Iraqi left alive are those who wave little U.S. flags?

America is bad at occupying because the Americans can't wait to get back to the USA - the best place on earth.

No the other country is hopeless. We have 10 to 20 nukes for every one an enemy country throws at us(with the exception of Russia). We will smoke all other countries to the stone age. Come try to attack us, remember what happened in WWII? Good luck trying. We defeated an equally powerfully or more powerfully enemy with the help of the Soviet Union. And the damn media always gets on the military's case, they should not be allowed in iraq. They always mess up, we need to drop heavier and stronger bombs on those terrorists like someone already said.

imAMERICAN, I think you need to take Ethics class because your perspective is quite limited similar to the perspective people had when they believed that the earth was flat.

In all seriousness, please do not believe everything your parents tell you. Just because their parents were spoon fed the same information from their parents does not mean you have to. I am not claiming you are exactly like your parents but I am attempting to address your unethical view points against other human beings.

Are you a religious person? If so, how could you clearly justify bombing thousands of innocent children of God?
