Woe unto all you Pastors, Preachers, Deacons and Elders
who have and do sit idly by as people are drawn into ever darkness by your lack of courage.

You stand behind your pulpits believing you are doing the full will of God, wearing your expensive suits driving new cars living in warm homes. Your ornate churches that do nothing for God, but are nothing but eye pleasure for to attract men with money to come in and feel like they are saved.

While your nation your community is filled with the enemy. In all levels of governmental leaders, in schools, in the streets, in Your Churches.......The enemy has a strong hold now because of You. He is trenched into every aspect of our nation because of you........He is killing the unborn children, raping the minds of children with immorality, clouding the minds with drugs, TV and ungodly music. He is teaching that God did not create the world that evolution and nothing did it.
He is stealing souls by the millions daily as you sit and do nothing, allowing his forces to strengthen by the minute...............Woe unto you.

You preach prosperity, repentance and such, yet you do not preach against the murder, drugs, corruption immorality in the streets where it is needed
.
You are supposed to be the ones after God's heart........You are supposed to hate ALL the God hates.....Love all that God loves.

Why have you allowed abortion to exist...........Why have you allowed drug dealers to roam your neighborhoods infecting your children and friends.........Why have you allowed pornography to shame your sons and daughters and to infect the minds of people.........Why have you allowed the word of God to be removed from your public places.........Why have you allowed gambling to come into existence in every state........Why do you allow the government take care of the people when you are to.........Why have you allowed them to burden people with credit, slaves to money............
Why do you not use money given in the church to help the community, your large buildings, fancy cars, large homes is not helping people that are with out hope of life, living in ever darkness......Woe unto you.

Get out of the dead buildings as they can not contain God and preach in the streets where the lost are they will not come to the buildings they will come to the presence of God.
Your 501 3C exemptions has corrupted you, you are weak worried about money and not the truth the will of God.

Woe unto you.

Posting of their inaction on a conspiracy forum isn't really the most efficient way to get your message out.

Isn't it a little hypocritical to call them out for not changing the world while you sit behind a computer screen insulting them?

Epic post bro. I think too many teachers have taught that accepting Jesus is just a free pass to do whatever you want.

On a serious note, how does one seriously go about taking the Word to the streets? People are just gonna walk by you and ignore you!

Not if they are also behind a computer screen!

I'm gonna have to agree with you. In a time when they appear to be needed most by their "people", they seem to be woefully absent.

Or, maybe the people are waking up and realizing only they themselves are needed to commune with their "God".

No, just wishful thinking on my part I'm afraid.

another thread going no where.

2nd you speak about physically doing something good for the community, while i applaud you. im curious why you would come here to spead your message instead of a street corner in the middle of the ghetto where it needs to be heard. maybe if your loud enough someone might listen!

Actions speak louder than lunatic rants in the streets. Ever noticed how you always hear about religious organizations asking for donations, yet rarely hear about their contributions to society?

When people think about taking to the streets to get the "Word" out, they think of desperate souls trying to convince others to join their fight (which, coincidentally, will almost always involve some sort of donating).

Start something bigger. Change the world in a positive way. Don't just talk about it. No need to doubt yourself. If you're truly doing the right thing, isn't God behind you giving you all the support you need?

Go the way of the Witnesses? Preach door-to-door?

Going door-to-door is a sure way to get even more people to turn against you or dismiss you completely.

As I suggested, someone who is truly determined to right this world's wrongs needs to get out there and walk the walk. Anyone can sit around and criticize and complain. It takes a special person to actually make the effort to do something about it.

What exactly do you mean by walk the walk? If by that, you mean trying to make a conscious decision to:

Love God with all your heart, mind, and strength
and
Loving your neighbor as yourself...

I don't think that any effectual change would be had. Because everyone knows that nice guys finish last...

So how does one go out there and make it happen?

What I mean is: if if OP is so upset with the "leaders" not making the changes they should be making, there's a lot more that can be done about it besides posting on some forums on the internet.

If someone is that serious about change, they should step up to the plate and try to accomplish something in the world. Preaching only goes so far and will make just as many enemies as friends. They'd need to tangibly do something. Maybe get a bunch of people willing to put together some type of program that goes into bad neighborhoods, picks out a family, and offers to build them a home and give them a better life. Don't ask for donations. Don't ask for prayer. Just do something nice. People will be curious and you'll be able to explain WHY you did it.... but actually doing something meaningful is infinitely more memorable than shouting about Jesus and evil pastors on some street corner.

It's been working for the Witnesses for about a century and a half. I don't know what you're talking about.

Such an ideology must have a lot of appeal for individuals with slave-minds, but hardly any for those wanting to exercise whatever free will is possible.

Funny. Jesus didn't seem to think that the best way to accomplish his task was to do charity. Sure, he did charity, but you don't read much in the Bible about all the charity work that he did. What you read is about his work as a preacher. When he left, he didn't tell his disciples "go forth and do charity work". He told them "go forth and preach".

Not even Jesus managed to do his work without gathering enemies. Do you imply that you could do better? Isn't it far too much hubris?

"Working" in what sense?

I've yet to hear of someone who changed their entire outlook on their life and soul based on a Witness. I have heard many complain about their door-to-door practices, though.

That's what I'm getting at. The old stuff just doesn't work these days. You need to be new and innovative. Get people to notice you (in a positive way) and your words will be much more impacting.

Have you ever talked to a Witness? Since a good deal of our membership is composed of people that joined due to our door-to-door preaching, if you want to hear of someone to changed their life due to it, all you have to do is to approach a Witness and ask and you will hear about it. However, I am sure that it is quite hard to hear about it if you are never willing to listen.

We preach on prisons too. Does changing a criminal into a law-abiding Christian citizen counts as "changing their entire outlook of life?"

You're just wrong. Again, it is been working fine for Witnesses for about a century and a half. "Doesn't work these days" is the claim of a person that never tried, and is not willing to try. You're talking about something you know nothing about.

Trust me. Witnesses have tried every venue possible, short of TV programs. Door-to-door is still the most effective way, hands down.

Part of the problem is, you have too many unbelieving pastors passing themselves off as christians so they can keep feeding off the congregation. Then you also have those pastors who are nothing more than government employees. It's all in the following OP and thread.

Preachers who are not believers...

There are actually premises different from yours, from where 'preaching' can be considered. Consequently conclusions on the subject vary.
