You can quote from the socialist parties website as much as you want but you still look misinformed. If you actually think that the top 1% give a crap about you or what you think than I feel sorry for you. I feel sorry for you that you must try and find any reason to hate the left, despite the fact that these people protesting, are doing so for every American, that means you.

Wait a second, I thought it was the wealthiest 1 percent of the world that pulled the strings, now the left is back tracking and saying no well it's just the top one percent of America. Nice, but you do realize that in everything there is a top one percent. In the classroom there is a top one percent, they are usually the best and brightest, but are you saying that the top one percent is oppressing the rest of the 99? I find that hard to believe but I'lll give you the benefit of the doubt, if you can specifically call any of them out by name and explain exactly what crimes they are guilty of and how they are oppressing the rest of us, but I am willing to bet that if you can name one, his name would probably be Warren Buffet or Jay Rockefeller and in that case a socialist, not a capitalist.

Do you know what the german word "reich" means? It means the word "empire" as in the Roman Empire. There was the first Roman Empire, and then the second empire was called "The Holy Roman Empire" which spanned all the way to Byzantium, the capitol called Constantinople (now Istanbul) after Caesar Constantine. The 3rd empire didn't last near as long, this 3rd empire was WWII Germany and it failed because Hitler was a brutal madman that chose to murder people instead of doing like the original Roman Empire and excersice religeous tolerance in exchange for obeisance (until the Romans put the idol of a pagan god on Yahweh's throne, which caused the jewish rebellions in the 1st and 2cd centuries). The 4th empire is the United States.

Nice job, OP. Well put together, well laid out.

Of course, you'll have nothing but the progressives on this site sticking their fingers in their ears going lalalalalala because if you aren't FOR them, you're obviously a shill for corporate.

Funny.
For people who believe in such shades of gray, they sure think in absolutes when you don't agree with them.

IMO--Despite all of the rhetoric surrounding what socialism is or isn't at the end of the day it is an attempt to strengthen the weak simply by weakening the strong. The poor are still as poor, and the rich get poorer too. It is non-workable because no one at all truly benefits.

To change anything, we have to help those we can on an individual level, person to person through compassion and the actual will to end suffering for those we see as being in need. And to help them because we feel it is the right thing to do...not simply because some faceless entity( the collective) is forcing or subtly coercing us to.

We can make things better on this rock in space, but it can ONLY be through individual will, not though the guidance of some collective hive.

My two cents.

Yes sir, but I will expand on that. It is not exclusive to the United States, it is the extreme left and they exist in all parts of the world, but you are also correct as many of the Nazi Germans escaped charges and came to the United States after the war and now many of them are in political positions in our government, which was once a freedom enjoying country.

Yeah, I didn't read anything you posted. As soon as you start saying that the Nazis were socialists, even though their sworn enemy was the Soviet Socialist Republic, I already know you don't have even an inkling of what you are talking about.

Nazi = National Socialist Party

Yes, I do not feel that this movement is doing anything on my behalf and if that is the case maybe they would listen when I tell them to stop. But is't not for my behalf or the behalf of this country and they won't listen or do their own research or stop. They will continue to revolt because thats the cool thing to do.

Best case scenario it is the result of the degradation in our education system, where ignorance is regarded as truth and truth is discarded as ignorance.

Good thread honeycomb, they just hate when you shove their words in their mouth...

If any of these idiots had a critical thought of their own, they'd be protesting their own useless universities.

Thank you! I hope everyone sees this thread. It is always better to use their own words against them then to seek a debate on their level which would be finger pointing and name calling.

The first time I looked that the socialist party website was a real eye opener. I think that not only should readers read my original posts in entirety but also go to the website and look around as well as the many other socialist party websites of different origins. After a while you will be wise enough to see how their theories are severely flawed and also hypocritical to their own so called cause. Use this website to wake other people up and let the socialists eat their own words.

holy oh my god
i had to read your op in chunks
couldn't swallow it all in one go
i notice there are 2 pages on this thread already
but i just had to hit reply straight away
to tell you how sad and sorry for you i am
and that i hope you wake up soon and stop being so selfish and bigotted
but that it's okay, we're still going to fix everything
and we'll still let you live here even if you don't change your mind
because we're not like you are. well, not while you're asleep and having nightmares anyway.

also of note; where do you get off, criticising lgbt rights? [as well as.... omg, 'coloured' rights, womens, children's, immigrants....] just because my views on gender and love are a bit more open than yours does not mean i'm not a fully functioning human and certainly has nothing whatsoever to do with my views on what this is really all about, which is a broken system and far too much corruption and money.
everybody i am sorry if i derailed the thread, i really hope i haven't said anything that hasn't been bought up already.... now i'm gonna play catchup and hopefully throw out a hundred thousand stars

and; why do you keep pasting socialist stuff? OWS is NOT a socialist movement. there may be socialists there, but that's cool, we welcome them. we welcome you, too. we're doing this for all of us.

EDIT: kinda can't believe this hasn't been torn to bits yet. i guess maybe it's just too trollific for anyone to bother with

You and what army, the army that doesn't believe in owning guns? Is it the army that cries about their constitutional rights yet does not adhere to it? What about the ones who comment without reading a post in it's entirety? Or is it the army of spoiled brats fighting against an imaginary enemy?

Yeah, thats what I thought.

as regards reading your entire post, i apologise, it's just when i read bigotted opinion after bigotted opinion... well i mean, your arguments got a little predictable somewhere there towards the beginning. in fairness to us both, i did go back and finish reading, and i was right.

you like positing that we're against imaginary enemies, don't you?
i kind of like that
because i think the system is imaginary too
and i'm glad we agree.

this is gonna be so easy.

p.s. please don't get angry. i'm not saying you are necessarily a bigot. just that a lot of your pastings in this thread indicate a certain frame of mind.... and those views themselves.... well those are bigotted views. and there is no room for a single one of them anymore.

Yes, in fact the Nazis were National Socialist. What part of that don't you get? The Left keeps trying to make the Nazis out to be right wing....well it was slightly to the right of Communism....

Check out the words of Goebbels

[...] Bourgeois patriotism is the privilege of a class. It is the real reason for its decline. When 30 million are for something and 30 million are against it, things balance out and nothing happens. That is how things are with us. We are the world’s Pariah not because we do not have the courage to resist, but rather because out entire national energy is wasted in eternal and unproductive squabbling between the right and the left. Our way only goes downward, and today one can already predict when we will fall into the abyss.

Socialism is the doctrine of liberation for the working class. It promotes the rise of the fourth class and its incorporation in the political organism of our Fatherland, and is inextricably bound to breaking the present slavery and regaining German freedom. Socialism, therefore, is not merely a matter of the oppressed class, but a matter for everyone, for freeing the German people from slavery is the goal of contemporary policy. Socialism gains its true form only through a total fighting brotherhood with the forward-striving energies of a newly awakened nationalism. Without nationalism it is nothing, a phantom, a mere theory, a castle in the sky, a book. With it it is everything, the future, freedom, the fatherland!

vladtepesblog.com...

Hear the bitterness of class warfare and the utter contempt for the bourgeois capitalist in those words? And the praise of the working class?

There are many socialist elements in the demands the protesters have made, as well as statements by protesters and the websites and groups promoting Occupy Wall Street, that promote socialism, or socialist solutions, and socialist ideology.

The entire modus operandi is anti corporate and anti capitalist, promoting democracy over the Republic. One poster here even said he wants Direct Democracy(mob rule).

No one in the movement wants anything to do with the corrupt "Left-v-Right" paradigm as they are sick of the corruption of the banks, corporations, the Federal Reserve, everyone who's destroying The American Dream!!

This is yes, a NWO coming into view but one dictated by the will of the majority and not the rule of the minority! The people have spoken and can no longer take the inequality and the targeted and coordinated attack and assault on their very existence.

It also stated that elections would be held democratically or something to the extent that the socialist party will have free and fair elections but only from within the confines of their own party..
