Thousands of California prisoners on hunger strike

I bet most of those prisoners were convicted of non-violent drug crimes. So most of them shouldn't be there clogging the prisons and wasting the police and courts time and taxpayer money anyways. Which is why this is a peaceful protest probably made up mostly of reasonable non-violent people instead of a violent riot of the supposed rapist, murders, thugs, and bankers that should be making up most of the prison system.
