Strange Wind patterns?

Hey all,I'm just wondering if anyone else has been experiancing strange wind bursts? I'm not sure if this is normal but is feels strange.

I reside in Australia, Its a calm day not a breath of wind at all,trees are still. about 10 minutes ago a sudden burst of strong wind just came past blowing everything and knocking down my two trees in their ceremic pots,it was quite strong lasted about 3 seconds and now its calm again no wind.

what was this? the thoughts of a shockwave popped in my head when it stopped. can anyone shed light on this type of phenomenon or ??

My goodness. I've had a similar experience. I live in southern states and we typically get good winds, but the other day i woke up and went outside and instantly noticed a change in the environment. It was still as could be, as if in 2d cartoon, aswell as silent. Was pretty eerie.

did it heat up at all? Kansas had a heat burst in the summer months an the winds were gusting 70 mph. It was clear an no storms around.

nah no heat,but it had a chill to it,and its supposed to be Spring here. doesnt feel very spring-like.

I'm pretty sure it must be the fault of Monsanto and their genetically modified beans
