Interesting video.

Luke 4
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.

-------------The Poor are those held captive by the world system.

He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,

-------------Blindness is spiritual blindness. This is equated with consciousness being held captive.

to set the oppressed free,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

--------------The year of the Lord's favor is the last day of rest. 1000 years of peace after great tribulation.

Any way you look at it, Jesus was / is / will be the one to look to.

Already seen the video before, been skimming through you're thread but honestly couldn't take you very serious when you tried to play it off like debating a topic and discussing the pros and cons of something is highschool stuff and past us or something. Which tell me that you're not readily equipped to actually back up what you are trying to sell me.

Its an interesting video, though it requires the belief that everything we know was simply a ruse and any freedoms we have fought for and progressed towards was just them giving them to us "farm" better. It also requires the belief that were dealing with a system that supposedly is handed down to every banker and politician. Doubt their competed enough to pull that off. sociopaths may be intelligent(I.E the elite) and conniving but their goals are often short-term and self serving and rarely work out in the long run.

Every strive for freedom and against corruption wasn't some ploy, its a sign that the elite are slowly crumbling. Thats why feudalism isn't around anymore anymore. Though you did get the whole divide and conquer thing right. Thats not a problem with the elite though, thats a problem with humanity in general. They play on our weakness of collectivism to incite class and racial warfare. Then swoop in whatever group has the more power and offers freedom and entitlements to them(They hardly deliver though again self-serving short-term planning) the reap the benefit of wealth and power.

K, I don't believe for one damn minute, that this isn't the truth, that I'm going to post on face book, as soon as
star and flag this thread. Your OP was excellent and IU havn't seen our dismal reality of existence in this extreme light ever before.

Excellent post and thank you for bringing it.

Any chance you could shorten it down to a nice summary? Or maybe find a slightly shorter video? Right now, you're asking people to make quite a commitment to something they "can't" agree or disagree with.

Watch the video first and read the text. It will give you inspiration. Gosh dont any of you read books? This nothing if you are on a journey to find the truth then you will go any length to get it.

Grate post, you have inspired me to focus on my own goals. I will admit I do fall with in the division category's, I fight and debate to get my point across, while at the same time I am aware that I am falling into a category witch was meant to control and make us fight. The first step to overcoming any thing is admitting it. Not to many people review their life's, most peoples morals contradict with their actions and reasoning. I am striving to make my actions reason rather pure uncut unsought emotion, its the only way to brake thew their cattle control techniques.

S+F! Many Thanks to you!

feudalism is still the main system we are controlled by, they just changed the name to capitalism and changed the setting from a castle to an office. oh and this time they tell us we are free.

I have seen this type of thread numerous times over the years on ATS. It has made me think and even lose some sleep. Here are a few problems and possible explainations as to why I think things are as they are. This is MY opinion and reasoning over the years.

I have had the privilege of having had a few different positions of authority(small amount). I have found that it is not what I had envisioned from the outside. Take the Three Amigos for example. I have seen them labeled disinfo agents, CIA, FBI and a number of various acronyms. They have been accused of deleting posts, replys and all types of suspicious activity.

Im sorry, I highly doubt that there is any truth behind the accusations. I have seen this site change over the years due to its popularity and growth. The rules and code of conduct had to be tweeked as new issues and problems arose. As brillant as they may seem. They can not take in every eventuality.

Now lets say a small group of the richest most powerful men, hundreds of years ago made a pact to rule the world. How can they guarantee that their successor will carry out their plans? I have a 19 yr old son and a 17 yr old daughter. I cant get MY OWN children to do anything the way I want it done. How can the powers that be ensure their plans can come to fruition with their great, great, great grandkids? (assuming bloodlines play a role)

Man gets sick of the way things are run. Revolts or strikes out on his own. Creates a new form of government. One that has new ideas that are fresh and current with the times. They start out with the best of intentions. As they grow and evolve. New issues and problems arise, more laws have to be created to appease the masses. Soon its too large and out of control, doomed to failure, why? How many different forms of government have been tried over the millenium? Why does it always fail?

Maybe....

There is an unseen force or spirit behind the enslavement of mankind. One who isnt limited by a mere 70 or 80 years as we are. Truely an unseen war that is waged all around us.

Please dont bring up shape shifting reptilians.

To me and my limited understanding, is the only answer. One that satisfies all the issues, problems and paradigm shifts that occur naturally in time. If this is true, then its a spiritual battle. How do we wage a spiritual war?

There were like 5 or 6 paragraphs of introduction all telling us that you were going to say something. Then I am not sure you said anything... yes I am one of those typical ATS'ers with a short attention span and OMG LOOK!!! Something shiny!!!

That is criminally simplistic. It totally disregards that without the rule of law you get utter chaos. With nobody to control them, there is a segment of society that will force their wants on weaker individuals. To ignore that is very dishonest.

It hits a lot of points I agree with but is utterly lacking when presented without the rest of the story. The story of what happens in a state of Anarchy is far more brutal than anything a State can impose when it's government is reigned in.

To have anything akin to a good life a balance must be struck some way. Being Human we are not too good at that and its like riding on a see-saw. We must have authority to protect the weak from the strong, the meek from the evil and to keep an infrastructure in place.

Unless of course a person believes the weak should be marginalized, brutalized and even killed. That then makes them the slaver in the story, who decides who lives and who dies; who eats and who starves.

Your exact message has been used to kill more innocents than any other. Sounds rational until its actually implemented. It is in itself an attempt at control. Ask the good people of the Congo how total freedom without any authority served them? Ask the ladies in that area how they were treated when there was no authority?

What is true intellectually is meaningless when dealing with living Human animals. I can only imagine the slaughter if we were to suddenly find ourselves without any form of leadership or system of laws. It would be an utter bloodbath with the artists and intellectuals going first since they serve the least needed niche in a survival situation. The takers would go first.

The vid is right, but the problem remains that there is no escape, the whole worlds a farm so you will be dead meat no matter where you go!

You highlighted the problem without offering a solution

Atleast I know why Im depressed now
Thanx

That video sums up in 16 minutes everything I've been trying to explain to my family for three years now. It makes for a great summary,

@Rhebefree - My purpose was never to depress... or in minimum to poke at someone's depression with a pointy stick....
We are happy cows, could even say, sacred cows, or as some would say, HOLY COW...
Please the best i can offer you is comfort in video form (don't worry it's not too long and not much to read)

For the rest of you who have commented i beg your forgiveness for not responding (good or bad) to each comment as i just laid out a table - pick what you like and ignore what you don't need as my opinion is limited to writing words and any response would be longer than the thread itself and still be arguable to some folks. i am glad some of you enjoyed it and it helped in anyway as that was my hearts desire.

And just so i don't come off as some pacifist/lovey dovey/heal the world kind of guy, for those too stupid to make an actual comment because you are too lazy to be triffled with or read and watch something which will take minutes away from your precious computer time and/or your opinion is merely a statement of your own lack of ideological integrity so you feel you must throw your assinine opinion out there to hear your own words back to yourself so it appears as if someone agrees with you - even though it is only an echo... i say, meh...

mucho amor para todos
as ever
mike

PS.. the farm video wasn't of my making, it was sent to me and it inspired me to write the post

Part of me thinks you are right. All of me hopes you are.

But, part of me(the Machiavellian part) also suspects another false dawn. I've always mantained that the best means of quelling a revolution is by endorsing it.

For example, the Hippy movement went from a summer of love to a commercialised commodity to be sold as mass produced tie-dye shirts, plastic peace signs and any other aspect of it that could fetch a dollar. Now the Hippies are a laughing stock, a quaint naivety from the last century.

When I see the MSM trying to jump on the Occupy Bandwagon, along with various groups holding political agendas etc, it makes me wonder if the Occupy movement hasn't already been co-opted.If this occurs, we can forget the idea of peaceful protest ever working again and start sharpening the guillotines and stacking the pyres

Oh, it might be co-opted - but really who cares? There are those who'll get fooled (like the hippies) and some will say we wont be fooled again. It's about us individually and what we know, hence my not debating some useless argument or rhetoric. i love when the media can't figure out what a bunch of individuals in a large group want... It's hysterical...
Who is their leader? What are their demands? Are they going to riot?.. Well, they are each their own leader they all have their own demands, some demands concur, some are willing to follow but they lead themselves to follow.

The hippies happened and wont happen again, although that's not to say something else wont happen that may be similar. It might just be baby steps and not the big leap or perhaps this is the "time".... Who's to say?
But every step is a step... and with each step we move further along on the human path... Like Rev. Martin Luther King said, "...I may not get there with ya, but I want you to know tonight that we as a people will get to the promised land..."

Great post & video!

Although in fairness, it wasn't until I watched the video that your post became clear. (Maybe post video first next time?)

But having said that, the video truly changed how I view the world &, the people in it.

Although I'm not sure I want to view the world this way, it has definitely opened my mind to another perspective.

Thank you

You mean dumb it down. We're too busy texting or watching American Idol or Keeping up with the Kardashian's to read something and try to understand it or what the person is trying to share all the while "Denying Ignorance".

Thanks for the contribution. I enjoyed reading your post and the video was worth the 16 minutes..

"Statism is not a philosophy. Statism does not originate from historical evidence or rational principles. Statism is an ex- post facto justification for human ownership. Statism is an excuse for violence. Statism is an ideology, and all ideologies are variations on human livestock management practices."

The "hippies of the 60's" ARE laughing, they are seeing history repeat itself. The people in the 60's movements could not beat or change the system or the momentum of the growing darkness because it is (World economic and social system) is so fundamentally human and flawed i.e. greed is good, so they joined it and perpetuate it.
