Why are people so deluded as to think that there's gonna be a reset?
There won't. There will be, however, abandonment. By them.

First, let me say that the people of the world need to defuse the current stranglehold the elite (riches wise) financiers have on our economies and thus our world.

That being said, America will feel wave surge from this, but Europeans seem to be the ones who are about to royally take it in the rear (sorry to our European compatriots). At worst for us, I am seeing a continuation of more of the same weak economy we have today.

Only one of those quotes spells ultimate destruction and the rest state what I have: Europe is heading for an incredibly bad recession (which has already begun).

Although, I do believe the NWO folks want to spin this into WWIII as a way of population control and another massive power grab. The question is this: will people buy it this time? The NWO have not built up Hitler and Japanese war machines in advance to have to knock down like they did before WWII. This WW would be more like the fraud WWI was and I am cautiously optimistic the world will not be as easily fooled this time around.

I chose a random quote to verify and this is what I found...

All-You-Can-Eat Prime Rib & Crab Legs

1. I couldn't think of a generic title. This one sure works for the casinos.

2. I was evidently quoted in an article that is heavily syndicated on the interwebs as a financial industry "insider" regarding the coming impact of the lower G.I tract effluvium hitting the rapidly spinning rotors. Shhhh. Open the window. Listen. Do you hear that sound of distant, cacophonous laughter? Coming from the general direction of the Chicago metropolitan area? Yep. That's the entire futures industry howling with laughter. Bwa-ha-ha-ha! Although, all of my 9/11 Truther stalkers have informed me that I am, in fact, an undercover Joooooo, CIA, Mossad and Bilderberger agent. Because, you know, it is SO OBVIOUS that I am on someone's payroll. BWA-HA-HA-HA! Oh my gosh. Stop. You're killing me, Smalls. Seriously. I did exactly 37 half-turns today. I used to do five times that pretty consistently. But, I've spent the last year telling my cattle clients NOT to put on any short hedges. And, considering the cattle prices hit new all-time history-of-the-universe highs today, I'm feeling pretty darn good about that. But a financial industry "insider" I am not. My business is cattle, and I am OUTSIDE. Way, way outside.

3. Which leads to point 3. Seriously, if you guys are looking for someone to quote on the financial industry, specifically the mechanics of what is happening and why, you need to go over to Market-Ticker.org and contact Karl Denninger. He is at forefront of all of this, and has been for years. I've forgotten more about cattle than K.D. will ever know (aside from that unfortunate drunken incident when K.D. was in college - no charges were filed), but K.D. has forgotten more than I'll ever know about the broad financial markets.

I'm going to assume the others are just as questionable. She seems to have a good sense of humor about it...

I think robots have become advanced enough that real people are not needed for work anymore.

So there are too many people not needed on earth.

Time for a manufactured crisis.

I have said it earlier, only people in strong community will survive if it gets as bad as it seems.

People will have to learn to live without money, which is possible with ancient system of barter. There will be security problems that an individual cannot deal with. The most difficult problem is the government, that will stop providing services but will still expect taxes. Survival will be possible only in closely knit communities that look out for each other.

Is society that "dumbed down" that they'll believe anything they read in a chain email that has been previously shown to be largely bogus?

You choose to run around in a constant state of pants-wetting fear? That's your perogative. History has shown me that prophets of doom are constantly predicting the destruction of everything around us. I'll pay attention when they have a success rate a little better than the current 2% or so.

You have a point, and still you don't.

The problem is West is having REAL money problems. The concept of benevolent State has broken down due to Govt finances not able to support welfare programs.

Historically State has never engaged in public welfare. Paying unemployed or poor has not been a State's job.

We are post-industrial society now, when multitudes of industrial workers are not required. The new industries have also matured.

You can call it reset, or anything, but the fact is a fundamental change is taking place.

America is financially doomed because it is NOT PRODUCING.....it's CONSUMING! The ONLY THING that will help the U.S. get out of this mess....HONESTLY....is the legalization of Marijuana aka HEMP. But, we all KNOW that aint gonna happen....simply because the oil industries, got a good thing going on...and they DON'T want to ruin the cha-ching! Know what i mean? Unfortunately, even that is gonna take some time to make happen. 1st they have to grow the bud, then they have to manufacture it, into it's many products....so, it could take a while to get off the ground.

Im all for what you suggest in your post, but to say that is the only thing that will save your economy is ridiculous. The sad fact is that nothing can save it, and the people of this planet are sleepwalking into oblivion. Its too late now, we are way past the point of no return.

Most likely, as already has been speculated in this thread, they will resort to war. This is a proven tactic used throughout history. Unfortunately, many people will be forced against their will to pay for it with their lives, while the elite profit. In the UK, during WW2, the people all stuck together and helped each other out during the time of hardship. I cant see that happen this time around, with all the divisions deliberately created in society and the deliberate disintegration of morals and society. We saw what happened with the London riots. Everyone will be at each others throats in order to survive rather than co-operating.

The banksters and corporations are currently involved in wars around the world, the armies that are supposed to defend us from foreign threats are being used as their own personal invasion forces to grab resources under the pretence of liberation from tyrannical leaders and terrorism. We know full well what they are capable of, by the way they conduct business, and if their very existence is threatened then they will kill us too. They will all be safe in their bunkers/spacecraft while # hits the fan, then will be back to take control of the survivors.

This has all happened before and it will happen again. This is human nature, it sucks but its the way we are. Theres nothing we can do about it.

Natural resins were used with seasoned wood to make very durable sea-going boats more than 5000 years ago. There were no nails in these boats.

We have lost a lot of knowldege because we have destroyed forests, which were so biologically diverse, that a variety of chemicals and herbs were available there.

We are using carbon fibres with synthetic resins now to build airplanes. Science has come full circle to use technology similar to ancient people.

Someone has been predicting the collapse of civilization at least twice a week since I could read. It hasn't happened yet.

Heck, in the past two years I've sen about 30 "set" dates for the collapse of the global financial system come and go.

Same old song and dance.

Yeah I know what you mean. Doesn't mean it will not happen though. I am surprised it has not already happened. mathematically there is no where else the monetary system can go so that is a given. The question is always when. We had a pretty good collapse in 2008 many thought that would be the end. It wasn't but probably was the beginning of the end.

It won't be the end of civilization but will make for some rough times and hopefully we can correct the problems that caused it and get back to prosperity eventually. However the potential is there for some serious bad times so it is always good to be prepared.
