Macman,

While I like the majority of your posts and threads I have to say, I question your right to question others who have questions about questioning their government which brings about more questions…uh, where was I?

OMG! You’re a speciesist! You hate humans!

What a thug!

Some people will just not get it through their thick craniums that a opposing point of view is not racism.

Folks here talk about the "race card", and yet the members I see bring up "racial issues" more often are rightwing members of this forum themselves. So just to clarify on the kind of mentality going on here:

Blacks vote for Obama only because he's black. (Not racist at all because it's "true", blacks are incapable of thinking policy wise)

Blacks who vote for Cain? Well it has nothing to do with him being black because well, he's a tea partier.

Right, this is the message I'm getting from the OP.

Typical of a liberal argument... I should know, since i'm married to one.
First of all, whether or not someone brings up racial issues is completely irrelevant. Just because shed light on a racial issue does not make me racist.
Second, its true that many black citizens will vote for both candidates just because of race. Note: I think much of the black community is regretting and re-evaluating their reasoning now. I dont agree with voting for Obama OR Cain because of race! In my opinion, it has absolutely nothing to do with how well he can perform the job. However, on thing i cannot tolerate is Obama abusing the race card. Tell me how many times Cain has publicly used the race card...

So to answer your question "Right, this is the message I'm getting from the OP." the message you are getting from the OP is skewed due to you inability to deductively reason!

Why is most everyone pre-occupied about finger pointing on who's racist or not. This is kids game. Who cares what color someone is. Vote for them because they line up with your views not because your afraid of being called a racist. I don't agree with ANYTHING this socialist in cheif does or says...So does that make me a racist in the dems view? Well if it does so be it, I know im not and secure to say so because my fiance is half black, Does that make her a racist too if she doesn't agree with him?

I will vote for whomever I think will do the better job, and this ediot in office surely has no idea what the heck he's doing. He's a puppet for the NWO

Because all republicans are racist in the minds of democrats. Seems that all they can focus on is race. Shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone, with the democrats racist past and all that.

www.washingtontimes.com...

Though its what counts today doesn't? Nope still racist.

www.humanevents.com...

Now, don't get me wrong on this one. Republicans aren't exactly the most tolerant party in the world they have there thing with gays going on. Motivate by skewed Judeo-Christian views, the want for the expansion of the federal government(though both parties are into that kind of thing). The war on drugs, and the desire to protect the wealthy, but a party of racism? Naa, go to the democrats if you're into that kind of thing.

Though if you're into freedom for all and the push for a colorblind society vote the libertarian party and support Dr. Ron Paul

I wanted to know more and found that those on the left are REALLY threatened by Cain. He doesn't exactly fit into their "stereo typed" box they have made for minorities.

I am left leaning and quite frankly I like Cain and what he has to say.... So....

do me a favor and don't speak on my behalf ever again.

Not to mention... Really the whole left vs right paradigm is pure BS....

This is what kills me when you see some buffoon posting about people pulling the race card.

They'll sit there, and type out some garbage that is clearly racist or openly in support of systemic racism, and then go
when you call them out for it. And then they claim you're using the "race card".

Typical and tired tactic of right wing shills.

Asks Hank.
Instead, ESPN announced on Monday afternoon that the famous “Are You Ready for Some Football?” intro will not be part of tonight’s Monday Night Football broadcast after Williams made comments likening President Obama to Adolf Hitler.

Don't worry about labels. Be real to yourself. Those labels were most likely put in place to keep the races at odds with each other; a bit of misdirection to keep everybody's eyes off government. I must agree though, it is debilitating in several arenas. I too wish the labels would disappear...

It's very relevant to the OP and many members on this forum. The fact people are complaining Obama blacks voting for Obama only because his black makes it very relevant to them. They complain that the race card is continiously brought up against the tea parties, and yet, what's this? What's the OP doing? What are you doing just now?

I get it though, you see it differently when you bring it up, that's fine.

Second, its true that many black citizens will vote for both candidates just because of race.

Of course many black citizens voted in Obama because of his colour. The same could be said for McCain, many white voters supported him because he was white. Many white tea partiers will vote in cain because they'll feel his colour will be significant to the elections. Many blacks will favour Cain because he's black as well. But to generalize and argue that, for instance, Obama's colour is the only reason blacks vote for him, all blacks, to me that is racist. It's this assumption that blacks as a whole are incapable of deciding candidates for policy reasons. Do you get it now? Can you understand my point?

I dont agree with voting for Obama OR Cain because of race! In my opinion, it has absolutely nothing to do with how well he can perform the job.

Neither do I, but generalizing all black voters who supported Obama isn't going to solve this mentality now is it? Two wrongs don't make a right.

However, on thing i cannot tolerate is Obama abusing the race card.

When has Obama "abused" the race card? Can you list it. I cannot tolerate those on rightwing bringing up racism and then telling everybody else to shut up about it. Don't like being called a racist? Don't make it an issue.
