it is imaginable. whether that imagined thing is correct is the issue.

the big deal is that according to pure Newtonian physics (leaving out relativistic velocities) the mass and energy of the sungrazer was far too small to evoke such a large reaction. conservation of energy 'n all that.

from one perspective, it was coincidental.
from another, there were forces and dynamics involved not taken into account, not even really known, in fact.

hence the debate.

oh my god, you guys really don't know nothing about science and astronomy do you? There is so much things, meteorites, comets in the sky that you cannot imagine how many they are.

They have been hitting the sun, the planets for thousands of millions of years. Now since people has access to information, they freak out so badly... people were not freaking out like that before and people were really happy with their lives.... and those things were Happening JUST LIKE THEY ARE HAPPENING TODAY, it is just nobody had the technology to see those things.

Come on.. wake up.... instead of creating everything out of your imagination, do something creative with your life. stop wasting it. omg

When these large objects strike the sun an d cause massive flares to erupt.....it would be in our National interest for NASA to edit the publicly available images.

We have to do things to protect our assets in space....maybe turn them off. Not allowing other countries to know what we know....means they might lose their assets in space if they didn't take protective actions.

That's why NASA's been editing the publicly available SOHO images...even cutting down on what they used to show.

The EM ropes became visible to our eyes when the comet passed through the plane.

The sun blast the comet with hydrogen protons causing the visible tail and the comet responds by sending a jet of electrically charged plasma to the sun.

This happens while crossing the plane because the space in this area is disturbed and more energetic than outside the plane.

If you look at the infrared googlesky image, you can see colored bands in the sky marking the orbital planes of all the planets. The colored bands represent different energy signatures in space.

This is why one should expect to see the anti-tail when passing through the plane. While more disturbed, energetic particles in the plane react, the more space conducts EM activity.

some further notes on this phenomenon and questions from the referenced paper:

from summery:
a large distortion in the ordinary tail occurred April 27-28 (after the observed forward spike).
AND there was a very large solar flare on the 26th, which the authors comment on, speculating that perhaps the flare caused the distortion in the tail (it was more than an AU out at this point).

so:
april 25 (we pass thru orbital plane) see dramitic forward spike (which is explained as dust particles in the orbital plane)
april 26 huge flare
april 27 & 28 large distortion in the ordinary tail.

curious.

i admit tho, that the dust (how do we know its dust?) hypothesis is not disprovable given the data we have to work with. The images themselves are fairly crappy and the incidence of flares and normal tail distortions within the same time frame, point to other possibilities.

as always, the deeper i look, what i find are questions, not answers.

passing thru the plane allows us to see ANYTHING concentrated there...and it very well could have been a very fast stream of particles invisible until the ray angles were just right.

i wonder if the Earths passage thru the orbital plane were more than just a location thing? Perhaps there's an interaction there as well..all the energy is in the orbital plane , right?

is averted, that many people talk about. So allegedly teslas 110 yrs timeline set by him
moves on for another 110 yrs. Tesla had allegedly claimed that he received his reply
to his signal from 110yrs in the future.

"Fringe" in terms of science can be a good thing, and can lead to new discoveries..... as long as you have valid data and a solid hypothesis that is testable and verifiable, in order to contribute to science.

Making half-baked and unsupported claims, though, by appealing to those who will eat it up and have no actual scientific background, well. That might be called being a huckster.
