OP, I was starting to think to myself that you were sounding awfully hateful until I saw your pictures. I must admit, you have a good point here. Some went South, but many went in all directions. Same thing happened in Oklahoma after their new laws awhile back and I live next to them. I just try to keep in mind that many Mexican-Americans I have known in life hate the illegal 'mexican trash' as much as I hate White Trash when I see it...and I'm as white as snow. Illegals HAVE to go back though. There just is no other choice.

We are being human, however when my families job was lost to a non American, hlllll ya I'm mad. Send them home I need ajob and I am a 5th generation born In America citizen. My family should not be nearly a year without work, its wrong. In today BAD times Americans need to come first its our country, my decent that brought my family line here in early 1900s earned their citizen as quickly as they could. Go home or go stand in line and become Legal citizen.
You must still be working ir an illegal yourself. If your American citizen and lucky to have a job you best cherish it because some illegal from any number of countries can easily de thrown your job.

Cival war was north vs. south. Arizona is in the south...hhhmmmm. It wasnt a state, it was a territory along with NM.
But it became a southern territory, then taken back over to become a union territory. It was a battleground.

Everyone knows that AZ is the conservative flagship state.

I honestly dint see the OP as racist, maybe unaware, maybe first time dealing with this mass exodus, but I don't sdee racist. And being you been to AZ, you know especially in Naco, Nogales areas there are literally 100"s of miles of desert private lands and farm lands being torn to shreds by what is being left behind
it takes more then an hour or two to clean it up and then the ones cleaning this crp has to pray they don't get sick from all the body fluids left in the garbage areas. I lived in sierra Vista as for 5 years I left because of the illegal trashy problems, I left about 1 year prior to a, new immigration laws. I e-mailed McCain alerting him of my departure and why I left. I understand they are seeking the basic neccesdities BUT, they need to be less trashy and learn the language.

In any case, illegal immigration is a huge problem on so many levels and needs to stop!
No illegal should have a job before an American citizen.
No illegal should come here without a background and health check.

The Territory of Arizona was a territory claimed by the Confederate States of America during the American Civil War, between 1861 and 1865. It consisted of the portion of the New Mexico Territory south of the 34th parallel north, including parts of the modern states of New Mexico and Arizona. Its capital was Mesilla along the southern border. The Confederate territory overlapped, but was not identical to, the Arizona Territory created by the United States in 1863.
The territory was officially declared on August 1, 1861, following the Confederate victory at the Battle of Mesilla. Confederate hold in the area was soon broken, however, after the Battle of Glorieta Pass, the defining battle of the New Mexico Campaign. In July, 1862, the government relocated to the town of El Paso, Texas, where it remained for the duration of the war.
However, the territory continued to be represented in the Confederate Congress and Confederate troops continued to fight under the Arizona banner until the war's end.



In April 1860, impatient for Congress to act, a convention was called and 31 delegates met in Tucson. In July 1860, drafted a constitution for a "Territory of Arizona" to be organized out of the New Mexico Territory south of 34° N. The convention elected Lewis Owings as the territorial governor, and elected a delegate to Congress.
The proposal, however, did not succeed in Congress because of opposition from anti-slavery Congressmen, because many people in the area were pro-slavery, with business connections with the southern states, and this new territory lay below the old Missouri Compromise line of demarcation between slave and free states. Thus anti-slavery Congressmen feared the new territory might eventually become a slave state.

you are mostly right in your history facts except for mesilla, it was won in a poker hand our president and Mexico president. Our president won. Before this which was In the late 1800's the border went to Las Cruces, how do I know this? I lived in mesilla for 18 months in 1999-2000. My work is in military housing on construction, office Dministration, I was fortunate to beable to live in 32 os the states learning a great deal about each city and state I was in at the time. You know when I lived in AZ I was told by people born and raised there, I'm talking adults not people under say 25ish, told me AZ never officially signed into the union of the united states, they declare themselves separate but have to obey basic American laws.
