Fighting against the air

I fight a fight to Jester's delight
My fists of rage alight on wisps of nothing

I was here when you where there
As I can see you just don't care at all

But I know that this world is ever changing
And I know that this dream will sometime end
Your selfish feelings will not affect me then

I see the moon and wonder what's beyond it
I wonder if there's sanity out there
But then I drift away
And find myself dreaming of you again

My sanity it seems
Is not to be redeemed
And so I yield and do it all again
