Why don't Coperations support Libertarianism?

I thought this video made a good point. Many will say that if Libertarians had their way that corporations would be in charge and ruling the world form throne of skulls. Or something like that. If thats the case how come corporations don't throw all their money at the libertarian party?

The guy is right. Corporations derive their ability to be as large as they have become because government works to keep them in business. All governments have started coddling businesses and have convinced a majority of the public to believe corporations protected by government are in the best interest of the people.

In a libertarian society, government would not dictate regulations that allow a corrupt organization from getting away from violating others rights by paying off the government to stop investigating. The corporation would be held responsible for every violation of civil rights, property rights, that the corporation did against another person. They would not be coddled by government to keep them in business. They would be sued just like a regular person. They would be called to answer for their crimes or violations and would not receive protection of damage caps or ways in which to pay off government to stop holding them accountable.

The government was supposed to be there to balance everything, not tilt it in favor of corporations. However, corporations realize that they benefit more from having a government cater to their needs instead of individual needs.

Because that view is deliberate disinformation on the part of the established parties and on the part of the MSM. The corporations know that Libertarians support true Free Market Capitalism. Corporations hate the very idea. Corporations use the power of government to stifle competition, not to encourage it. They know that with a real free market, their profits would quickly suffer as their competitors offered products and service of equal or better quality with better service. They also know that real free market capitalism would lead to lower prices and accordingly less profits. Let's take Gas. With all of the different companies selling gas, why are they all almost the same price? Think about that, the answer is obvious.

In a nutshell, it is because libertarianism aims to abolish federal regulations. Today, many regulations serve to help mega corporation because they make the barrier-to-entry much too high for a small business owner to succeed (which is how large corporations like things). Regulations are bought and sold by PACs and lobbyists. This makes libertarianism very dangerous to big corporations.

Libertarianism will harm large corporations while helping start-up companies. It would go far in leveling the playing field.

Yeah, the big corps basically have monopolies everywhere, even if they're not official yet (because the politicians are bought or too stupid to notice). Small companies would benefit more in a libertarian society, but the big companies have more influence on the law.
