Romney secretly and illegally funded Perry

Basically Romney took a huge donation from a Texas millionaire and funneled it into the Perry campaign in order to obfuscate where the huge sum of money was coming from. This is the equivalent of money laundering in campaign finance.

While such obnoxious behavior is totally expected by criminals responsible for looting the public at gun point through the IRS, it does highlight just how close Romney and Perry are to each other. Any differences these clowns claim to have while on the campaign trail means nothing. They are pure establishment candidates who work for the same crony capitalist interests.

Hopefully Ron Paul can exploit this scandal to his advantage and take down both of the criminal front runners at the same time.

I dunno, I don't think scandals are a big deal to alot of people anymore. just look at all of Obama's growing scandals. yet the man still lives his life like nothing is wrong, and nobody except Issa is trying to do anything about it.

The plot thickens. No wonder they are getting nervous with talks about Christie. It has already come out that he is a Kissinger puppet. It has been reported that Kissinger was Obama's first employeer. Connect the dots is becoming easier all the time.

Oh cool, I just read about this on the Daily Paul and hoped it was posted.

According to court records, the money from Bob Perry sent to the RGA was routed to the governor’s campaign in two $500,000 chunks. The last check for $500,000 was personally delivered to Rick Perry in Washington by Romney’s executive director at the RGA, Phil Musser, the court records say.

To me it's been obvious from the first debate that Rick Perry and Mitt Romney are just the next-in-line puppets selected to get elected and screw the country over, bringing us farther down the line of martial law, new wolrd order, or whatever is in the near future.

On stage they pretend like they're each others arch-nemesis, then their back and forth discussions get media attention for the next few days giving people the idea that they are the only two viable candidates. But behind the scenes, they're helping each other out. Two sides of the same coin. You said it best in the OP:

This happened less than a decade ago, IMO the two have to still be closely associated.

Rick Perry’s campaign has denied in the past that it did anything wrong but settled its role in the lawsuit by making a $427,000 payment in 2010, court records show...Eventually, Bell won an out-of-court settlement in 2010 from Rick Perry for $427,000.

It seems that Rick Perry paid his way out of trouble.

Yes, you're right and it's called desensitization. Some people are just accepting the fact that we're going to be lied to and our "leaders" are going to do things behind our backs.

We mustn't allow their traditional practices to cause us to be complacent. If they're doing underhanded activities before they're elected, they'll continue to do so after they're elected.

This is more evidence of how the politicians thrown in the faces of the American people are nothing more than a dog and pony show. They all work for the same people and have the same interests. More reason to vote for Ron Paul he is the only real thing out there.
