So then, can you rebuild a once great nation that doesn't want to be rebuilt?

You are right, most American people don't give a # what really goes on so long as they have beer, football and something to hate.

You seem to have deluded yourself into thinking that I am somehow jealous or envious of people being rich?

I know two millionaires who are decent, kind and fairly generous folk. I am not one bit jealous of their success.

MY issue is with the point of no return, the sheer and overwhelming pinnacle of control, lobbying, bribery, manipulation of the very top of the crop.

You say that THEY control everyone elses joys and luxuries, and in some ways I agree, but we again differ because you restrict your thinking into the following category:

'Without these people, all would crumble and nobody would have luxuries or material happiness'

Whereas as my view is:

Topple these people and redefine the very notions of what is valuable. Instead of being TOLD what is valuable.

I understand you want to keep your home which you have earned, that is fine, natural. But you somehow feel superior and morally resentful of those who are campaigning for a better life, because you somehow think it would disrupt your way of living / thinking and thus, because it may affect you, then those homeless, wounded, sick or unfortunate people should not deserve a chance.

You criticise them when they need benefits, then you criticise them when they campaign for fairer rights then you criticise them when they lose everything.

Only by force, and only by imposing the views of the few onto the very many.

Which is exactly what this whole thing, ironically, was suppose to stop.

Every group wants the old group out of power so they can have their own change to screw over the REAL vast majority. That is a simple truth.Sad, real sad, but true.

Lizard man, the socialist scheme of redistribution of wealth has been around a while in case you didn't know. When POTUS was campaigning he said spread the wealth. That is Marxist philosophy and anyone who knows about Marixsm knew it. The masses apparently don't know and are easily led astray by promises made to them.

The entire healthcare insurance thing is more "spread the wealth" mentality, as is taxing the 1 per cent rich. The truly wealthy(such as Buffett) hide their wealth in tax shelters anyway, so it will be the middle class and even lower upper classes who will suffer and pay the most. It is the same as the left has always done, just more of it. It is also a Cloward Piven strategy as exposed by Glenn Beck, and the left hate him for exposing this tool of the left and those evildoers who are behind so much of the stealing of the public treasury. These people have gotten very good at cloaking their hand as they steal from the cooky jar.

In his perspective, it is the poor and needy who nudges government to somehow "rob" the rest of America. They are accessible and easy to see. He can drive down the street and see the panhandler who wants to "steal" his house and car.

But he can't put a face to numerous investors who are waiting for him to lose his house so they can make a quick buck. He can't put a face to the people who pay politicians to vote on subsidies that rob him of his taxes that they use to, in turn, fuel corporate profits that they use for CEO bonuses thus directly going from Neo's income into their pocketbooks.

There are tons of Americans just like him who can't put a face to the real detractors and cannibals of our economy. Many of them mean well. Again, it's perspective... and the violently wealthy are the kings of twisting perspectives.

Have been watching this for the last couple of days, and must say I'm impressed with the resilience of ordinary Americans (the 99%) to stand up to the big corporations in such a peaceful manner. I do hope those that get arrested are soon released, as they don't seem to be doing anything wrong by complaining about being poor or made homeless in the worlds' third largest country (in economic terms).

Anyone earning a million dollars a year really ought to be paying the same percentage of tax as anyone earning 100,000 a year. And anyone earning less than 50k a year with a family and mortgage really ought to be in a lower tax bracket.

This peaceful protest should continue until the bills are paid by those that can afford to pay them, plus a little more to help out those that can't, so they can at the very least stay in the homes they don't own but pay rent for, and allow their children to eat properly and go to school, and not worry about dying from want.

Dying from want or worry is something that should simply just not happen, and it doesn't in China or Europe. And soon in many other parts of the world. Yet we hear of one-in-six below the poverty line in New York City. And homeless people queuing for food parcels of supermarket out-dated stuff, and soup kitchens which remind us of the Great Depression the USA went through between the world wars.

I shall be writing to the managers of all Wall Street offices to ask that they open up the first four floors of their buildings to the people outside, in the advent of adverse weather conditions that may affect the health or indeed the life of anyone outside their building. In this fantastic comfy electronic world that we now live in, it cannot be conceived that one man shall sit in a warm spacious arena and look through toughened glass doors to see a fellow human shivering to death before his eyes.

There seem to be quite a few websites springing up by the hour, and it is difficult to tell the ones supporting the movement and those that are disinformation pretenders. A bit like our crop circles in the U.K. some have a 'genome' formulation and some sell colas.... With the utmost trepidation I will mention beforeitsnews as being somewhat uptodate, and maybe less censored.

I will actively support the opening of warm spaces in Wall Street offices, and the good guys in them will let the good guys out there know about each other.

On a lighter note if I recall the Queen of England is still the rightful owner of all Wall Street property and all rents are paid to the Crown, but will have to double-check (how?). Food for thought.

The poor and needy will take from the govt if the govt offers it. Jesus said the poor ye shall have with you always. No matter how much the govt does for people, there will always be more hands out to take whatever can be given.
When it gets to the point where so many are dependent on govt, that is a breaking point. You cannot have one half the country giving up their life's labor to support the other half.
It is very deliberate though, becuase the Obamas and the Soros and the Jarretts of the world want their Socialist Utopia. They may truly believe it is the answer....

But it is such a tiny fraction of the bleeding. The majority of our destruction comes from sources who are faaaar from being homeless or poor. While we are paraphrasing Jesus, I'll add that we should take the log from our eye before we worry about the speck of dust.

Oh, and when Jesus said "The poor ye shall have with you always" was in the context of somebody saying the poor woman shouldn't waste that oil stuff on Jesus. He was saying that he wasn't going to always be around so it's cool if you use it on him because it's a special occasion. It wasn't a justification for rich people to think they could kick sand on homeless people. Using it for that end is pretty disgusting.

Clearly, on a medium very sympathetic to fringe movements and even on HERE it is no where near 99 percent in favor of this. It's a tagline by a vocal group to try to have more widespread appeal is my opinion.

This is war between two small factions: the elites and the would-be elites. I firmly and absolutely believe we should all read the last page of Orwell's Animal Farm about now.

The new will be the same as the old when the dust settles, and the vast majority will be just under a different heel--unable to tell the difference between the old elite and the new.

wow, 20 pages of comments (admittedly, i didn't read all of 'em) and it seems no one caught either of these from the original post: Army / Marines don't wear "dress blues" and Congress is on vacation/recess.

to me, it just goes to show most of these participants have no clue as to what or why they are there and are far too easily misled.
congressional schedule
it would seem the propaganda machine is in full swing ...
