They are VETS, thats it, they have no special powers granted by our military. They are no different than the citizens for what goes on down there. They can get arrested by the police, just like the rest of them. The OP is missleading. He should of posted, us marine VETS headed to wallstreet to protect the protesters. As usual, the propaganda on here is still going on to misslead the citizens.

What is this obsession with materialism though? Personally I'm not obsessed with my own property, wealth or posessions any more than I am with anybody elses.

yeah well who would but i dont judge wealth by the amount in my bank account.

the way things work on this planet is going after the people and the trillions they make that finance all that goodness and joy what you and most people call helping the less fornuate

i have every right to sit here and disagree with those who would destroy that system and other people to get what they want and its all about their wants.

not their needs.

All of a sudden we are parasites because we won't settle for where the chips have fallen because my generation is waking up and realizing that if we did that, not only would we be servile economy slaves, but our children would be, their children, so on and so fourth for the rest of the future of humanity.

No thanks. The financial system was designed to screw us right from the get go, piece by piece, until as a fore father put it, "your children would wake up one day homeless and hungry".

I don't care what you people invested in, you invested in the oppression of my species I am not going to honour or protect any deals you ever made because I hate to break it to you, but they are TOAST all ready, pull your money out now and invest it in silver while it is cheap at $30 an ounce.

If you don't, you deserve to lose every last penny of your stupid investment. If you are pegging your retirement on healthy economies of the future, you will lose it as soon as the EU collapses. You have no retirement already if you leave it there only you are too dumb to see that the writing is on the wall. This movement will steamroll you if you maintain your already "sold out" attitude. If you have kids you are screwing them for a few years of the easy life, all the while you were rewarded with the easy life for playing along. Well guess what my generation is getting the "you're screwed" life, and we aren't going to sit back and take it.
This movement doesn't care about your investments. Sure we care about you but the financial system is so far gone that we will no longer honour it. Certainly not I. Your investments can go to hell I was not put on this earth to make you rich. Take this as a warning, because if not, I'll just laugh a year from now when you are complaining about having lost you opportunity because your investments have all turned into a steaming turd. You can join your scummy buddies on wall street, the remaining 99% of us ain't having what you want for yourself at our expense. Especially since you won't get it the system will push back retirement ages until most of you die anyways.

Only now there's more of us, and we are angry. You can keep your socialism and retirement, we want nothing from government anymore accept less of it, and less of you. Support you and your kind, you won't be getting anything off my back any longer. Stick that in your retirement pipe and smoke it.

people are screwing themselves blame whoever you want if it makes you sleep better at nite

its always the same o same o around here its the evil rich people keeping the people down.

its not i have said this time and time agian people are not focusing on the real culprits here

the only things they are doing is creating more of the same for themselves.

the answer to all this nations ills is right where its always been in the their own hands not the government

not better living through legislation and not better finances through the government.

simple fact rich peopel are rich because they are better with their own money and secondly they are doing the things that too many people arent you work for your money but you dont put that money back to work.

the systems works its the people who are broken thats a fact.

Absolute bollocks. Most of the elite are BORN into very rich families, as someone just mentioned this is NOT about a clever businessman coming up with a groovy business venture and netting a nice million, this is about the very top of the crust - the super-rich families which operate outside, nay determine such systems.

"Fascism should be called corporatism" is the words of Benito Mussolini... Funny how a person that was the head of a fascist regime could see it that way and the pawns of Wall Street sociopaths are too stupid to see it for what it is.

A protest that has barely begun can't really be called an obsession.

I'm not in New York, and can't see you. But I can read what you have written and it seems to me that you spend a lot of time talking about your money and property / possessions, as if that is the most important thing in life.

It just seems a bit obsessive. I hope you realise that life is a lot more than just about material items.

Well said. Yet he has the audacity to accuse those who have or are losing everything as parasites. Unbelievable. I think Neo would be slightly more sympathetic if the banks suddenly ripped his possessions and home from his hands.

Pardon me, but Wall Street and the Banks ARE NOT the creator of YOUR wealth. Wall Street and the Banks ARE NOT the means by which you worked your butt off to own a home and your property.

I don't agree with most of these protestors ideology either ... but I need to ask, where in the hell is the Tea Party? That's right, they are all at home on their fat lazy butts, sucking up suds, watching Hannity or some other moron telling them how to thunketh and gyrating their loins for the day they can vote either Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty, Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Rick Santorum, and... uh ... er... that crazy dude we can't mention. After they vote, they'll go back to sitting on their fat lazy butts and think, "There, the repukocrats are back in power. All is well and safe again." Just like they did with Bush. And NOTHING will change.

I know a business man who took his own money and tried to galvanize every Tea Party and Patriot Org. in the U.S. to March on D.C. Planned it all months in advance ... 3 people showed up.

Like I said, I don't agree with most of those peoples politics. But ... I DO credit them for having more BALLS than the do nothing Tea Party and so called Patriot movements.

Fascism is not corporatism. That is an erroneous definition put out by people who hate Capitalism. Totalitarianism with a dash of Police State is more appropriate of a definition. The Big Bankers financed the Bolsheviks too, so let's get things in perspective.

Hold on a minute neo, the people created the system. If broken people created the system then it stands to reason that they have created a broken system. Your logic is a bit off...

If you ask me, both the system and the people are broken.

People need to stop thinking they're entitled to things they don't earn.
