... I have had other dreams that were extremely lucid in nature, however, last night was the most profound and it has convinced me that dreams are alternate realities that the conciousness enters. The event that occurred was filled with emotion and memory...
... The fact that this drem was a succession from another, unremembered dream, made it strange in its own right but the fact that a series of events that i knew nothing about in real life but ws aware of in my dream state had occurred in a "time fashion"...

I have had dreams where I was at work...nothing strange in them but very real feeling, but then I awaken, mentally exhausted and realize...
Crap! I have to go to work! Those days were always bad days.
I fixed it though when I retired.edit on 1-10-2011 by TDawgRex because: (no reason given)

The best way i can describe it is going to sleep on Monday night, dreaming that you put the cooker on, wakening up then going to sleep on the tuesday night and the dream continung but the house had burned down between dreams and my dream continuing from the point of the house being burned down with characters in the dream saying...don't you remember it burning down?
Its like the dream continues when i'm awake and i rejoin it when i go back to sleep.

Your dreams are operating like an MMO in the time sense, that's crazy. As far as it being real, that's very subjective. Of course dreams are "real" in the same sense a painting it real. A painting of a mountain is a real painting of a mountain but is it a mountain? The jeep in your dream is a real jeep in a dream but is it a real jeep?
My simple answer to this is: Observing more confirmations for one reality does not make another reality less real. What I mean by that is your dream realities are very real when not compared to your conscious realities. If all we had were our dreams, we wouldn't even be having this dialog as it would be the most consistent example of reality.
What you have stumbled upon is another example of dreams mimicking time and continuity which validates them as a real experience so... yeah, you did sort of stumble on some proof of the reality of dreams.
Alternately, if you call this person, and find out he had a Jeep Cherokee but now has a Volvo, you'll freak me out along with yourself.

If you call this person, to see how he is doing, the dreams will stop.
