I'd love to see members of congress join the crowd instead. The majority of them didn't want the bailouts to happen (until they were cornered into it). The heck with going to DC, let DC go to Wall Street. They should be just as pissed as the rest of us (except for the ones that are owned by them, hah!).

You don't have to explain to me what "socialism" is like it's some shock that I may be supporting it. I am a socialist. And as such, I can tell you that this protest is not about ideology. It's about theft and corruption, pure and simple. If you don't feel that it's being represented by enough anarchy-capitalists, then by all means join them!

On a federal level, I believe in your wild-west survival of the fittest capitalism... which is what counts here. There is no reason for you to defend these people that we bailed out who still foreclosed on people and still gave out CEO bonuses like it was candy. Sometimes it's okay to work with varying people for a common goal. Actually, it's always ok. So relax and try to find some common ground because they need all the help they can get. Wall Street doesn't.

hence their chants of, "the banks got bailed out ... we got sold out" and such.

they're just going about it all the wrong way.

marching and chanting the above and similar, supposedly focused on bring attention to the same, yet all the while you have folks in the progressions with signs of 'i hate cops', 'police brutality must stop', 'nypd are pigs', etc ... to include a myriad of other non-related 'issues and tissues' being voiced or made known all the while.

- a focused message, demand and actual purpose
- solidarity throughout with regards presenting that same message to others during your efforts
- stay focused and within the law
- listen to law enforcement when they merely ask that you remain on the sidewalk during said march.
* can't count the number of times i heard those type requests along today's march ... with a Please added by the requesting officer(s) .. and people did, for the most part

law enforcement don't want to be there any more than those in attendance feel the need to be.

i'm sure they'd rather be at home with their families, friends and loved ones just as you and i would... country going strong, life's good or at least acceptable, things don't seem to be going to hell in a handbasket, etc...

There is a difference between the power hungry like JP Morgan who owns 70 trillion+ in derivatives, and want nothing more than to see this amount triple through inflation alone. And the self made millionaire.

If I gave you a million bucks today for some software title or small business you came up with. Would it be fair to take half of it? Would it fair to eat away at it every year?

You should not want hand outs! You really can make your own work! I can tell one sure way right now, as I used to do it when I was younger and it paid the bills just fine.

at least some are beginning to see and understand the absolute dizzying aspect of running in circles ... at some point the beginning and the end all seem to blend together and in this case, i truly hope the end is as uneventful as the beginning was.

If a philanthropist makes millions,he should only pay his fare share in taxes.
If a CEO of a bank is getting millions in bonuses for a failed banking system,that is where I have a problem.
Tax those bonuses to the point the get nothing.
It comes down to greed.

Cause there is no work out there for skilled workers.

No new homes,no new office buildings.
