Clean-energy credits tarnished

Yet another part of the scam that is the "fight against Climate Change" has been unveiled.

One wikileak cable, which was released last month has just surfaced, but as far as I know NOTHING has been mentioned about it on ANY news channel, and of course the AGW fans are silent in the face of yet another piece of the puzzle that shows the whole "fight Climate Change" movement is nothing but a farce to redistribute wealth.

As the world gears up for the next round of United Nations climate-change negotiations in Durban, South Africa, in November, evidence has emerged that a cornerstone of the existing global climate agreement, the international greenhouse-gas emissions-trading system, is seriously flawed.

Critics have long questioned the usefulness of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), which was established under the Kyoto Protocol. It allows rich countries to offset some of their carbon emissions by investing in climate-friendly projects, such as hydroelectric power and wind farms, in developing countries. Verified projects earn certified emission reductions (CERs) — carbon credits that can be bought and sold, and count towards meeting rich nations' carbon-reduction targets

But a diplomatic cable published last month by the WikiLeaks website reveals that most of the CDM projects in India should not have been certified because they did not reduce emissions beyond those that would have been achieved without foreign investment. Indian officials have apparently known about the problem for at least two years.

"What has leaked just confirms our view that in its present form the CDM is basically a farce," says Eva Filzmoser, programme director of CDM Watch, a Brussels-based watchdog organization. The revelations imply that millions of tonnes of claimed reductions in greenhouse-gas emissions are mere phantoms, she says, and potentially cast doubt over the principle of carbon trading. "In the face of these comments it is no wonder that the United States has backed away from emission trading," Filzmoser says.

I forgot to mention that just today we were on a road trip to pick up a new truck out of town here.
20-30 mile per hour winds here and half of those bloody windmills were not turning, the ones that were turning were going good.
Here in Ontario our Electric bills have doubled in the past few years because of these monstrosities and now they are not even using them by what we saw today.

Electric bills are not only going to double in Ontario. I just posted another thread, and information from Scotland that getting electricity from windmills is costing 9 times more than if it was produced from gas power plants.

The article states that this will make companies bankrupt but imo it will be trickled down to the consumer, and to make matters worse Alex Salmond's green energy revolution includes the increase of business taxes by £849 million, puting more stress on the economy of Scotland, and everywhere else where decisions like these are made.

With the Fukushima disaster still ongoing people and governments might think twice about making new nuclear power plants, which leaves coal, oil, and gas companies still as the more viable solution until something can be found that will not bankrupt economies meanwhile being more environmentally friendly.

Yes It is a disgusting mess here too, smart meters, shutting down our local coal plant and then at the end of the day here in the summer time they warn of rotating brown outs or even worse black outs.
Stupid stupid people here in Canada......especially here in Ontario which is going bankrupt because of these policies.

Most people are not going to learn until they start getting the bill. That is the truth, and by then it will be too late.

Climate Change laws, based on lies and deception, are being put in place that we will not be able to veto because they will be "for the good of all and nature", when in fact all these laws will do is allow the One World Government to have more control over our lives, it will bankrupt nations and peoplem, and they will have to turn to this One World Order to "be saved" once again.
