Nope, they actively sought them out. Editted out others.

That's how you control the message.

from that youtube link.

Wow... New Yorkers react??? I was born and live in NYC (for 30 years) and these guys are not New Yorkers nor are they american. Who are these so-called "americans" who think they are the center of the Universe and want to kill everyone? Have we forgotten that america is built on the worst genocide in "history" (Native Americans) and has been the most violent and brutal regime since. Wake up people, we are ONE PEOPLE on this little planet.

Bin ladens WIFE and DAUGHTER both acknowleded he was killed as did al Qaeda, and every gov't entity in the middle east....but YOU know the REAL truth right? Gawd #ing damn you crack me up. agelessrocker 8 minutes ago

Well, YouTube is a different story. But even YouTube deletes or blocks sites from time to time. That would be a form of editing.

But as for the commentators...yep there are all kinds. Even here.

We've passed the point of no return. Our President is now officially a dictator that claims the power to kill an AMERICAN CITIZEN without so much as a charge being levied in a court of law.

WAKE UP!!!

All that scumbag who occupies the Oval Office has to do in order to kill YOU now is sign a piece of paper.

I predicted this months ago, and even asked the Republican Presidential candidates about it at the first debate. Check out their replies:

I'll be interested in their replies now.

But Paul has already put it out today that he did not condone it.

Let's see the evidence against them.

These are American Citizens.

I hate when the Government makes me defend these type of people.

These guys were worth capturing. Then put them on trial.

Next thing you know...We will be going in sovereign countries and hang their leaders.

Oh wait.....Bad example...

I respect you guys, I really do.

My thoughts were this;
We are at war.
He picked a side.
He got dead.

Where am I wrong in this? In another thread, I stated that there are no courtrooms in the battlefield.

Why should he have stood trial instead?

Honest question.

I'll make some calls to find out, but with the campaign in full swing I can't promise anything. I can't imagine that any of them will say that this was a good thing.

I respect you too Beez. You and I are on the same page 99% of the time.

He deserved a trial, in absentia at the very least, because of the 5th Amendment guarantees:

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation

Al-Awlaki was the worst kind of scumbag, but as an American he deserved a trial before being put to death by Presidential order. Now that the precedent has been set, all Obama has to do in order to kill YOU or ME is to declare us a "terrorist." He doesn't need any evidence, we don't get to present a defense, it's only his opinion that stands between us and a Hellfire missile slamming into our homes.

Or didn't you get the DHS memo that can make ANYBODY a "terrorist? That's right brother, if Obama says so, you could be next. THAT is why he deserved a trial.

Fair question...

We are Americans. We are free people. Evidence is required to kill an American.

We had these guys. They were in Yemen. They resist...OK.

These drone strikes are a great weapon. Until they are used against you.

This scares me. It's too much power for one man.

Also, That pesky Constitution is rearing it's head.

I am glad they are taking a dirt nap. But were they involved in 911?

There are many questions. I hate defending these people.

So you support the assassination of American citizens. Good to see that we have a traitor amongst us.

Didn't Saddam get a trial? There was actual documented evidence of his crimes? wtf...

Point taken.
Point made.

I guess I wanted it to be justified. I wanted it to have a defendable reason.

I wanted our side to be right. It really bothers the hell out of me that we aren't.

This is rather upsetting.

Samir Khan was 14 or 15 when 911 happened.

He was a magazine publisher. An American.

I bet Larry Flynt is glad we did not have drones back in the 70's.

I don't think that was called for. Beez had an opinion and a question, and by answering his question based on logic and the constitutionality of Obama's decision to have the man murdered, his opinion has apparently changed. Beez is one of the good guys, and hardly a traitor. The traitor is in the Oval Office.
