thats cool though, why is it white? doesnt black help them blend in while in the ocean depths, helping to be stealthy? white would make it stand out like a white thing on a black backround.......

More than likely its an albino, without closer pics we cant really tell, its a naturally occuring gene in most animals

Very cool! I wonder what the rates are of albino whales. I have never heard of one but everything else seems to have an albino version.

My first thought of this is that this could be an albino. Is there any follow up on it such as what its song sounds like? Or if it's still alive? I would certainly love to see how big it can grow.
