Doesn't the USA do exactly the same thing? lol I mean they put al Queada in control of Libya. We pick and chose who we decide are civilians and who are combatants at will.
If he was a real terrorist why was he dining at the pentagon?edit on 9/30/2011 by mnmcandiez because: (no reason given)edit on 9/30/2011 by mnmcandiez because: (no reason given)
He wasn't some innocent. He picked a side, he chose to fight. He lost, he died. Don't expect flag-draped cheers in front of the White House, but one less enemy is a score for us.

I can't believe anyone would find this to be good news.
Is it good that American Citizens can be executed without a trial of any kind or without actually being charged with a crime? Does not sound like good news to me. Of course he is credited with putting the "underwear bomber" into action, even though the underwear bomber was escorted onto the plane to begin with and Anwar Al-Awlaki would have had no authority at all to get airport staff to violate their own security measures and allow the underwear bomber onto the plane.

There is no proof that he ever killed anyone. You are just brainwashed by what the media tells you. That is scary brainwashing that most people have seemed to get into on here.
It was like when people were screaming about the Cathy Anthony case and didn't even watch the whole court case. How can you seriously make an opinion?
He is not the underwear bomber. The underwear bomber is currently going through a court case and is an African guy.

Agreed MrWendal.
Anwar al-Awlaki was a scumbag of enormous proportions; but the fact is, he was BORN in New Mexico and was an AMERICAN CITIZEN! For him to be murdered by that scumbag occupying the Oval Office without ANY charge levied against him in a court of law is beyond reprehensible - it's cold-blooded, first degree MURDER!
I asked the Republican Presidential candidates about this earlier this year in an ATS exclusive report, and (with the exception of Fred "Who" Karger,) they all agreed that this killing would be extra-judicial and unconstitutional. The man was an American citizen, and regardless of how much of a scumbag he was, he deserved a trial.
Congratulations America. Welcome to the new dictatorship where YOU can be killed by a stroke of the President's pen. YOU voted this scumbag murderer into office, and only YOU can rectify that mistake!
