Dude have you actually ever been to Quebec? Have you ask every Quebecers opinions on Truedeau? At the time when he declared limited martial law in Ottawa and Quebec we had a terrorist problem. And BTW flippin the bird at the media is what won him my respect. He was one of the best, gutsiest PMs in Canadian history.

Sure the guy is Charismatic but, what did he accomplish during his presidency?

Our country was prosperous when Clinton was in office. Our economy was booming, our unemployment rate was down and our national debt was pretty much gone! So tell me how wonderful Bush is? People are losing jobs left and right, the economy is beyond help and poverty is at it's all time high. We are in a war that we have no business being in and when and if the soldiers come home they come home to NO jobs. That's right, the unemployment rate will go up even more!!!!! People were actually eating when Clinton was in office. They had jobs! Our country cannot literally afford to elect Bush for the "first time" again. Maybe he needs a good BJ from Laura, maybe things in this country would prosper! People used to come to this country b/c we were he "LAND OF OPPORTUNITY" now we are becoming a 3rd world country.

3rd term? People brought this up about Reagan. Sure, let's make Clinton a third term pres. While we're at it let's give him a white paramilitary uniform and make him Presidente for Life.

The guy got caught getting BJ's from a girl half his age in the White House. He's done, put a fork in him.

I do think he did a good job, but a third term is never going to happen with him. I just wish McCain had become the nominee instead of Bush for 2000 Republicans, or anyone but Kerry this year.

OK so he committed adultery. Is that our business? NO! His job was getting done and our country was doing very well. Hell if his wife Hill didn't have a problem with it then where do we get off judging him? Shoot....he could have been having them done by all the interns in the White House, I don't care we were doing well as a country.

Well this surely is a stale subject to discuss, lol.

Indeed Clinton did good things for the country, lower unemployment, get rid of national debt.

So what if he had sex with an office intern.. big deal. How does that affect peoples lives... He helped the country.. which is much more important.

It's about distracting the people from the real issues for entertainment style gossip instead.

Yes I've been to Quebec. I haven't asked every Quebecker, and sure I'm biased on the subject because my grandparents and mother are Quebeckers who didn't like the massive amount of federal power invoked against the province by Trudeau. There's NO excuse for martial law except in times of invasion when it's a choice between your country's martial law or another country's martial law. A few mail box bombings and 2 kidnapped politicians is an excuse to bring in the army instead of RCMP??? Martial law is tyranny. And because Trudeau appeared to be rebellious it won your respect. He was a Commie. Castro went to his funeral. He declared martial law in a time of peace. He screwed Canada's economy over- our currency was worth more than the US dollar before the socialists came in. Just tell me what was so great about Trudeau other than the fact that he enforced tyranny?

Yes, Clinton would be re-elected. Bush barely beat Gore, and Clinton FAAAAAAAAAAR exceeds Gore in just about every way possible, including popularity.

Reagan wasn't green when it came to politics. He'd been a Californian Governor for quite some time, so it's not like he went straight from actor to President.

Not only should we not let Clinton run for a third term but we shouldn't have let him run for a second and we shouldn't let Bush run for a second term either. One term is enough. Do it in 4 years or get the hell out! Too many career politicians. One term limit for every office, Federal, state, and local. Men and women should serve their country for a term and then return to being a productive member of society.

First of all, we have this clever little law known as TERM LIMITS which specifically prohibit this (Although, what has ever kept the Clinton's within the letter of the law anyway?) and... Secondly, why would anyone even want to consider such a possibility? So that we could experience 4 more years of being bombed by terrorists with scant repercussions other than the occassional cruise missile fired into an aspirin factory? Um, no thanks. This country has obviously seen too much of Bill Clinton!

Aside from the "My dad can beat up your dad" type discussion going on in here, I am surprised you are actually talking about this garbage.

Let's look at this in a few key points.

1) The government is too big, often with members in bed with big corporations and other like minded "haves". We should limit ALL government posts to two terms for the state level and one for the federal level. This would include the whole of Congress, state legislators, and president.

2) Even enteraining this is insulting considering there are many folks in this country that would do a better job than most modern presidents.

3) Do we really want to rehash the Right wing garbage about the STUPID BJ. GOD, let it go.

4) Anything we can do to keep Hillary's face off my TV screen is a good thing.

5) Voting for the Dems or Reps is a total waste. More of the same.

For one, if we live in a country where any one man can make the difference between the country being great or not, we're living under a cult of personality.

For two, the Cold War was not and could not have been ended under just one administration. It was a generational campaign from 1945 until the end of the Soviet Union with global afterquakes still rumbling today.

You've got to be kidding right? I musta missed the requirement that morals were needed to successfully run a country ....not to mention the fact that he didn't do anything that other presidents haven't done....or many men for that matter....he just got caught, there in lies the only difference

Here we go. Who is going to be the appointed Republican to point out that he lied under oath?

I look at the effects. Like you said after I said it first: he got caught. Circumventing everything that can be said about the affair legally, morally, and philisophically, we're talking politics here, and the net effect is that he's never going to shake the strongest political propaganda point ever made in US history.

It sounds like Lady V is advocating
immoral leadership
and
Lying as long as you dont get caught...???

If thats the type of leadership she's supporting, its no wondr we're talking about giving this person a 3rd chance....
anything goes in the liberal world.
