Massive Union just voted to join the Occupy Wall Street protests!

Yes the union invest money, do you know why the invest money? Just taking a shot in the dark here, but the money that is invested is in fact its member retirement fund. Many unions manage there member retirement funds. When you have large amounts of money to invest it is normally not a great idea to just let Joe Schmoe do your investing.

When you need brain surgery you don't go to a Gynecologist do you? It's the same when investing money like it or not its a smart choice regardless of your belief in there ethics and or morals.

I totally agree with you, but we are passing the limit of no return as each passing year the government amends more and more of the constitution and changes it to suit it's own ends. We have been protesting peacefully for years and has it had no effect. These scumbags speak an entirely different language than the commoners do, and they will never be on the same level as us until we take drastic measures. The system is corrupt and it is broken and it is in dire need of replacing. We have come full circle to the point where people are peacefully protesting get pepper sprayed in the eyes for excersicing their constitutional rights. If americans keep sticking their heads in the sand the way they have been for the last 100 years, it won't be much longer when the day comes and they realise they no longer have constitutional rights.

What we have is devolving from a democracy and rapidly turning into an aristocracy. An aristocracy is a system of government that is run by those who have the wealth and power to influence the ruling body or government. They do this by "gifting" politicians with money, they call it a "gift" because iif they said it was a bribe it would make it illegal. It doesnt matter if it is called a "gift" or a bribe" if you offer money to buy a political vote or decision it is bribery. The word "gift" is just a pretty word for a bribe.

My guess is that there will be government sponsored agent provocateurs in the mix for the purpose of starting violence, and when that happens then you'll see the MSM all over this story. In one fell swoop, this movement will be labeled "terrorist" and die.

On the off chance that they prove that they are sincere, then I'll get excited.

I hope this is genuine, the time for change is yesterday and 'Time' is something we are all running out of. If things are left for much longer without protest or action then the opportunity to make this world a better place will slip through our fingers forever.

Long live the unions, for all their corruption they are still essential to the vast mayjority of citizens in any given country.

Hey I support any kind of protest anywhere in the states right now. Corruption is at an all time high and paychecks are at an all time low. People are losing everything.

You really want banks to pay attention. While your protesting stop in at your bank pull out your money and close your accounts. That's where the real protest will begin. If people started closing accounts in mass numbers, bankers wouldn't be smiling anymore. Your money is their money as long as it sits in their bank.

When you take your money back they lose control. Crooked banks will fall quickly. IMO this is where the revolution begins.

For those of you that don't think banks are destroying this country you are dead wrong. Banks for years have made it their mission to put you in debt. And they have succeeded.

If I didnt live all the way in Indiana I would totally be on my way with a few friends to join them!

Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as on of those Union lineman, i can tell you one thing in the last year i have left my home to travel to Missouri twice, Alabama, Mississippi, and Illinois. All in an effort to restore power that was time i spent away from my family i worked through holidays, family get together's, and many other events in my life. But my union has never helped this country out one lick, let me tell ya . It's very easy to bash a union, I will admit that before i joined my union i was every bit as guilty of doing it myself. I am now Union for life and would have it no other way.
