I've been hearing alot about this recently. In the past couple week I've heard two different guests on Coast to Coast AM discussing how baking soda can cure cancer. The theory is that tumours are actually a protective mechanism to trap harmful toxins, usually because our bodies have become too acidic. So by ingesting baking soda it can raise the ph level in our bodies and shrink tumours over time.

Apparently this information is being suppressed and anyone who practices these methods are being ridiculed and being stripped of their medical licenses.

The two guests on Coast to Coast AM are:
Dr Leonard Coldwell
Dr. Tullio Simoncini

With regards to Leonard Coldwell in particular, apparently he has been offered bribes by many pharmaceutical companies. After refusing bribes there were 3 attempts on his life. He was shot at twice, and an explosive was placed on his car which was detonated shortly after he stepped away.

Anyway I don't know any of this as fact, I was just curious what everyones thoughts were on the subject.

Its well established that many cancers cannot exist in an alkaline environment.
Its a shame so much of what we joyously consume is highly acidic.
Yet we can shift very quickly through ingesting alkaline or base elements/foods.
Go Baking Soda,

Of course! Baking soda! Its so clear- why hadn't i though of that? Why did i overlook something so simple!? All that money being thrown at a cure, hundreds of thousands of researchers, the global race to one up eachother on any matter relating to science- It was all STAGED to make some douchebag CEO money.

I will spread this message! Yes! I have made a spam bot that will pump out the address of this thread. By tomorrow this message will have reached one million sheeple! By next week, ten million. By next year 365 million sheeple will know the truth!

Fight the good fight, brethern.

Before everyone rubbishes the OP post, remember vinegar has been proven to be some protection against HIV infection if it is spread immediately on a cut?

Love the sarcasm, so which bit about a cure wouldn't suit bigpharma do you not get. They make more money treating the effects rather than the cause and lets face it, if they can make you worse in the process they can just get you to consumme more of their products.

Cannabis oil has also been shown to attack cancers but oh what a surprise according to WHO, MJ has no medicinal benefits whatsoever either.

Not saying the OP is correct, but people who just deride something without checking do make wonder

Manageable diseases make more money than curable diseases. There is a conspiracy there but that's not what I am trying to discuss.

I am simply looking for facts regarding this baking soda claim. More specifically I want to see if anyone can either discredit the claims or discredit two doctors referenced. Sarcasm is not productive and does not get us any closer to the truth.

Please also keep in mind that I am not the one making the claims.

So what do you do, mix some baking soda with water and drink it?

Has anyone tried this?

Dr Coldwell claims that he has a 100% success rate in curing his patients. I have no first hand experience obviously since that's why I started the post

When listening to the radio program they suggested 95% water, 5% pure baking soda. Apparently some baking sodas contain aluminum, so by pure baking soda he means 100% sodium bicarbonate.

Thanks for the links.

I've researched it a bit and found conflicting opinions. I have to assume most blogs and news sources are biased one way or the other. So I thought it was worth discussing.

It is pseudo science...it doesn't even make a vaguely decent attempt to disguise itself as real science. I do think though that given the trillions of dollars invested in to cancer research that we would have advanced quite a bit more in treatment than simply bombarding ourselves with radiation...but once nanotechnology takes off in the next couple of decades i would think most cancers could be treated by nanobots than actively seek out and destroy cells... until then people with cancer should just cross their fingers and take the usual treatment. If you are that adamant about all these so called cures then i don't see why you could not do both though, having some 'special' detox diet or bicarb should not interfere with standard cancer treatments i imagine. Discuss it with the doctor of course.

whats a good does for preventative/maintenance measures,

1 teaspoon in a glass of water per day?

and what are the precautions, ie, sodium can contribute to hypertension, hbp, bloating

Dr Coldwell didn't really discuss preventative measures aside from eating healthy and avoiding aspartame. If you buy into what he is saying I would look at his website.

To be honest I don't know if he is telling the truth as I am not a doctor, but if I had cancer I would definitely be trying it out. In small amounts it would have no adverse affects and the alternative would be death anyway.

Show me the research you already did on it and i will read it.

Well played.

Edit: Tell me how your expect a global conspiracy like this to stand up to scrutiny? There are millions of people involved in medical science, you would think it would be hard to keep such a secret. Corporate track records arent good for things like that.

Everything is always a conspiracy to you people.

1. www.curenaturalicancro.com... www.cancerfungus.com... Go for it, I'm not reading for you. You could also listen to him & a dozen other specialists on C2C who ALL back this treatment.

2. I dont have to justify me pointing out your pointless & uneducated sarcasm. Work that out yourself & you may find an answer as to why others have objections to your post.

If you cant see how secrets are kept, your on the wrong website dude I'm not saying theres a conspiracy, nor was the OP, this was simply pointing out a natural remedy for a condition millions have. Open your mind or find a new forum to be ignorant on.

In answer to your question, NO.

If you or anyone you know wants to try this, do the research & send some emails to ask questions, its not as simple as it sounds. It must be medical grade etc & the administration of it has to be precise. It works, but you have to know what your doing, you cant just drink it mixed in water.

Some links are above in a previous post of mine. I do know the doctor will advise your doctor if asked, he did it this way for an Aussie in a remote place & she was cured decades ago.

Saying Baking Soda cures cancer, to me, sounds a little too... certain. But what does seem to be definite, is that any Cancer finds it harder to survive in an alkaline PH. So while preventing Cancer might be impossible, curing it through raising your PH may be possible. I think this would include a lifestyle change, and a full diet change though. not just a teaspoon of Baking Soda...

This guy shares his story, doesnt claim to be a scientist, and isn't selling anything.

I don't really believe nanobots will be the answer, not immediately anyhow. First, I think you'll see highly specialized, modified, artificially created single cell organisms doing the dirty work. Actually, it's already in progress. Since DNA sequencing has become possible, they've been able to modify the DNA of living organisms to directly orchestrate certain tasks, such as produce chemical compounds to counteract cancer growth. Nanorobots, I think, will eventually be an option, perhaps they'll perform a maintenance and security role, similar to what your immune system already does, but with great precision and execution.

I dont know about the baking soda. If it raises your body PH then it could work. But why bother with something like baking soda. Just stop injecting all that cooked food, meat and dairy-products on daily basis and get yourself some herbs, fruits and vegetables. This way, you dont have to worry about getting cancer in the first place.

With so many people consuming tons of meat and overly cooked foods, not to mention alcohol, no wonder we are in a need of a such a cure. If you stick to fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds etc, and live a healthy life you dont ever need to even consider eating something like baking soda.
