Thank you Loho1. I've been wanting to say something like this for some time now. I've been reading all the post on ATS for over a year now and just recently joined. I too believe that the world needs a good cleaning. Don't know how this is going to happen, but hope that it does. If I perish than so be it. My wife and I are scared to death to bring children into this world for fear of their future. I've said this before and will say it again. I don't believe that we are physically capable of knowing EVERYTHING. I don't think our minds can handle it. Only once our spirit has left our bodies and we stand before The Creator will we ever be able to understand everything.

That may be true, but if we can not find peace within ourselves, between nations...I'd hardly think an external race of beings would want anything to do with us. Aliens may not have the strategy of Americans, i.e. going into other countries and making domestic problems of other countries their business.

Then again, I know nothing, neither do any of us regarding alien exo-politics (not human exo-politics).

Pishyblankwaters: I agree with you wholeheartedly.

rotfl I can just see an alien species monitoring our broadcasts and watching WWE or something equally as mundane and thinking this asylum isn't worth saving.

I also think that we as individuals have within us a biorhythm that is our means of contact and those who are capable are transmitting. The 2nd coming and the rapture is IMO all about what is going on inside our heads rather than outside in the world.

That capability stems from an emotion, the strongest most harmonious emotion of all, love.

So when you see Hollywood portraying aliens as malevolent and all the hype about alien invasion then you just know the time is near when truth will make believers out of all.

Personally, I believe in ET's, I saw a high speed right angle turn decades ago that we still can't do.

Good thing I did not flag this stupid thread. I have a habit of reading the ENTIRE op before committing flags and/or stars. Just because something appears well written with a catchy beginning does not make it accurate unless the diagnosis and solutions are correct as well.

Yes the government, military and religion are unbelievably corrupt but few people now why or how. I do but I don't feel like writting a tome the size of encyclopedia britanica to explain everything and then be called "dellusional", "too much free time on my hands", "need of psychiatric attention" or any other cheap cop-out the status quo paid posters will tell me.

You want the truth? Start reading the following: dulce and montauk dumbs, branton, stan deyo, private central banking, the corruption of wall street, old money and how it relates to industrialisation/banking, ufos, one world government and one world digital currnency, learn the real definitoins of capitalism/socialism/communism, fema concentration camps, etc...etc Realise it will take you many years to re-learn everything you thought you knew and few people can handle it.

That is something to get you started but you can find segments of the full episode on youtube if don't have the full 90 minutes to see the video I provide. All I know is if I see malicious aliens LOTS OF LEAD is going to be flying!

John 15: 18-19

18 If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

1 Peter 5: 6-10

6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, 7 by casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. 10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

You may be "hopeful" for a cataclysm, but personally, I'm a big fan of electricity, air conditioning, cars, roads, movies, supermarkets, stores, etc.

In the majority of the scenarios, all of the above would be gone for the most part. No thanks. I have no desire to have to go hunt or forage everyday for food. I have no desire to sleep worrying about some bandit coming to rob me at night, rape my wife, kill me in my sleep, etc.

Hope for the end of the world? Not me.

Just imagine what its like being an endangered species. The world is about to end, your species will become extinct. But when those critters, or insects, or animals, or whatever are gone forever...life on this planet will go on.

Earth has been around for billions of years and has seen endless amounts of species being born into the environment. We evolved and caused the planet to evolve, but its debatable if we helped it evolve in an unnatural process or not.

I guess my point is, if our species ever does get wiped out for some odd reason (war, virus, nuclear disaster, etc), our lovely planet will go on. Dogs, cats, dolphins, spiders, frogs, deer, monkeys, ants, termites, whales, sharks, jellyfish, birds, and millions and millions and millions of other species will continue living while new ones evolve and go on for billions of years. Just imagine how many species will grow because we're gone.

Sadly though, the usual, more unnatural event is war.

I think we are approaching a Perfect Storm right now. The Domino's are falling in place for something we have not seen since WW2 in fact.

We have all the players in place. Egypt is unstable. Pakistan is unstable. Syria is unstable. Libya I don't see as a player. Turkey is being incited against Israel by a carefully orchestrated plan with its roots coming from one of Obama's old cohorts, Bill Ayers and his manipulation of the fake Flotillas. The Islamic Extremists are ready to go, right now. The anti-semitic bunch are unexplainably(sp?) uniting with the Islamic Extremists while ignoring the fact they are also on radar for the Jihad, unless of course they are all planning on turning Muslim.

I think that is more how a real reset will occur. My one cent worth. Sadly the innocent Muslim people I think will be hit the worst.

Lol I've been wondering why people who hate religion so much are championing Islam the way they do. I guess they figure if they make nice they wont be called mean names like "infidel".

well the way i see it natural and man made disasters have often happened throughout the history of mankind.

some people choose to bury their heads in the sands thinking they are untouchable and we arent.

the current civilization has always been on a fragile balance that could tip either way some see this they try to bring awareness to others and they are often scoffed at.

sometimes they should be other times they shouldnt mankind has never had it so good and many people will disagree with that and it this moment and time mankind has never been so dependent on others and technology.

comets, asteroids, super volcanoes, famines and solar flares have happened and will continue to happen.

the end of the world as we know may not come in 2012 doesnt mean a whole lot too many other things on this planet in the heavens above can and has touched us on numerous occasions.

one thing that no one can argue with is that civilzations have risen and fallen and the proof in the pudding is not everyone if them is still around today.

mankind is but alot has been lost to the age of time

Great points Neo. Technological advancements have made it possible for us to live very different lives than early man, because we don't have to live right next to the Nile to get water and drag it on our shoulders for our baths every day, or to wash clothes or use for cooking, We have dishwashers now to do the work for us and sanitize better, we have hospital technology which helps people in myriad ways, cars to transport us to work( although I hear in Germany they still ride bikes...guess that works if you live close enough).

To thumb our nose at these advancements saying oh we need to cut our carbon footprint....

In Tunis, Tunisia is a historical structure which was built by the Phoenicians. It is known as Carthage. There are giant spheres and columns, what's left of it, and an interesting structure of waterways built to carry water to all the apartments, as the people all lived within that area. Fascinating and advanced for it's time.

The UN plans a One World Govt under the domination of an Elite. I always wonder why some people feel ok letting a small elite of people run the entire world according to their ideas, and yet they hate Capitalism and corporations....The Elite has somehow captured the imaginations of spiritual people and telling them that they can play their drums all day long and just let the Elite run things....
The Elite never seem to care really if hundreds of millions of people die under the implementation of their World Order.

You reminded me of a passage i read in some Hindu book. Honestly i don't remember which one.

This scenario happened before, chaos in the world, corruption, negativity but most of all, overpopulation. Now even though so many humans shouldn't be a problem (i think the earth can handle it), there is just too little positivity and wisdom going around. And with wisdom i mean knowledge about the environment you live in, not how you should spent your money.

In the same passage (again, if i remember correctly), the semi-gods complained to their God (Brahma?) that since humanity lost it's immortality, there were too many ! they were devouring earths recourses. God answered not to worry, for soon there would be a disaster wiping most of them away.

Anyway, personally i hope nothing serious will happen, but i hope instead that the world will start to realize on what planet they are again. I hope that everyone starts to realize that learning is more important than ANYthing you can possibly worry about.

Well said to the OP. I think the general gloom and doom people feel is a general "want" to reset the system. I personally would like something to happen. I hope that nobody has to suffer or die to make it happen but that may be a reality unfortunately. I do pretty good for myself...nice house, dinner on the table, take care of my kids, etc. I'm not poor but I'm certainly not rich. I am tired though of working my brain to death every day to make ends meet. I sometimes find myself longing for the simple life. Maybe the Amish have it best. I personally wouldn't mind throwing all the useless technology away and using only the best components to improve life. But sadly, our capitalist economy demands ever increasing profits and production so its work work work...produce more more more. I just wish we could all produce what we need and use the best parts of technology and science to advance us in general...not give us stupid toys, gimmicks and junk we don't need.

You could bring forth brilliant avatar children who have solutions in their causal bodies for changing the world to a brighter more positive reality. I do understand your trepidation though, as the world seems to keep getting murkier and more controlled by the minute. I think even George Orwell didn't see all that is probably coming at the hands of the Elite.

have the doom posts been more frequent? since when? i been wanting the chaos of change since i was a very young man.

does this mean it will happen? prolly not.

but the world continues to destabilize in almost every sector and just as the housing bust was all made up in our heads, if enough of us decide that the end has come, then the end will come.

and not a #ing moment too soon.

I see what the OP means, though I have to disagree.

A lot of you have taken on the attitude "Bring it on, Ordo Ab Chao"; the very goal of the elites.

Congratulations, all those years you spent researching TPTB, you ended up not only shooting yourself in the head, but you got TPTB to put the bullet in the chamber for you...while stating how beautiful it all is. Congratulations on a complete subservient mindset that you fought against at the beginning but now you are all holding hands after accepting your all going to die.

The amount of "back-and-fourth" mindsets I have seen here throughout the years is incredible, saying one thing, then conforming to Order out of Chaos, playing into the very arms of the global elite; doing exactly what you said you wouldn't.

I don't know about you all, but I see a lot of hopeless people with their tail between their legs accepting mass death and global destruction...all because of theories.

This is my first post in a while, I just had to post in this thread because I see hopelessness.

People think ATS has been spreading depressive threads this last 6 months? Try the last 6 years, its all apart of the collective theories, discussion and research of every possible theory and scenario; and to a point - fact.

In short words, it's part of the job, deal with it; just don't spread your acceptance of Ordo Ab Chao on ATS trying to convert conspiracy theorists into lambs of destruction.

I couldn't agree more with you. The O.P. presented the problem very nicely, but I don't think that mass destruction of the human race and everything we have accomplished technologically is going to help us improve in some way. After a cataclysmic event you may be witness to the most deprived and evil human behavior you can imagine. The fight for resources will become hands-on, and you may see your family massacred for a loaf of bread or two. Pockets of humans (tribes) will spring up and fight between each other over territory. Some may be peaceful, some will be violent.

Remember that this world is not the problem, human behavior is! Whether or not you wipe it away with a few people left, you still have PEOPLE making decisions on how it will go from there. Until we become more civilized and rational, not even a disaster or a global catastrophe will fix what you want to fix.

Going back to a base line to me is sometimes a wish that includes self sufficient life without answering to any one, government, agency, etc...

The metropolis' of huge city cores with millions of humans and the infrastructure, trade and transportation to support it is an amazing feat of human enginuity and design.u

Textiles, oil, alloys, new found elements, nano-tech, space exploration and instruments designed and built to discover and reveal never before seen components of reality, better understanding of the universe, multiverse, higher-lower dimensions, spectrums and frequencies outside the human perseption is now revealed for the first time; (Or have we developed these abilities and technologies before?)

Anyways, with the hustle and bustle of todays societies and economies, we are in a constant whirlpool of time consuming labors, red tape, distraction and such that we never have time to find peace, relaxation, nirvana. We are in a constant up-hill battle to meet the demands set upon us to learn, live, trade, organize, travel, and hell, even collect water, minerals, materials from the land, whether farmed, hunted, trapped, mined, or just falling from the sky from a select few of us who have controlled and manipulated man since before written history.

These masters of earth indeed have, for the most part, combined the technologies, discoveries, creations and ideas of the most brilliant minded human ever to be born on earth, and as living conditions have improved due to all of these and more, simultaniously, these same beings have also used these advances to further insure their perpetual control over these and future generations. In fact, as living is improved, so has corruption, power, deception and evry imaginable inhumane, torturous and subversive act imagineable at the expense of spirituality, compassion, empathy, family, love, humanity and infinite other "goods".

Now, i use the term 'goods' in genesistic terms, I.e.; 'God created light and saw that it was ____.'

So, to live a base-line life, you must labor much more physically and elemetally to survive as a provider rather than consumer. The generations of today have been spawned to believe they are entitled to standards that in not-so-distant past generations would consider better standards than that of a king with your hot and cold running water, indoor plumbing, freezers, refridgerators, bath tubs, toilets, and don't forget, toilet paper, and while at it, don't forget menstral pads and plugs, showers, electricity, lighting, vehicle and roadways, flight, computing, and the list of pleasentries goes on, yet we snivel and gripe that we are serfs in comparison to those elite, yet as planned, the family unite is broken, sovernty is neutralized, and a work ethic soon could be mythical, lore; an old wives tale.

"People used to have to work every day at least eight ours to receive the most basic survival needs of life." States little Johnny, speaking of all the things in our homes, communities and world.

The whole point of this rant of a reply is that the hardships that come withh self sufficient survival, is that your labors will increase, luxuries and pleasantries decrease significantly, and worst of all....No Internet!

I'd still choose the latter in an instant if I could. Why can't I? Because if it were like a locallized effort such as communes, Ommish type existance, or off-grid living, it would be a lie unless it were a global condition without interference of a self-annointed Master Blood-line or what have you.

Then, it would be truth and worth the effort of every labor to create you own existence in harmony with rather than chaos.
(IMHO)
