I quoted you.

I thanked you for stating what we've been saying all along. Perhaps it was a rant, but it wasn't necessarily directed at you. Unless you think I....and all Tea Partiers, are racist?

I understand that you quoted me but then you went on about TEA partiers being black and Obama's detractors only being labeled racist or whatever. I just did not get what all that or really any of that had to do with what you quoted or how I was supposed to respond. You seemed to quote me and then go off on how awesome it is that you and some other TP's voted for Obama.

Ok, good for you! Other than that I have no response because it all seems aimed at someone else.

I was responding to another posters racist comments.

Do not care. Does not change what you wrote. You are all about finding others to blame for everything aren't you? First your post was my fault and now your post is another person's fault. OK.

You want to fight?
Go somewhere else.

I am not sure I said anything that should leave you to believe that. You on the other hand accused me of a history of racist posts which I see you failed to provide.

You want to change the narritive?
Ditto.

Responding to your post is changing the narrative?

You want to sit at the big table with the grown-ups?

Start acting like one.

I own the table and at the moment there is still one empty chair until someone can come up with the goods. You said I have a post history that backs up the claim that I am racist. Where is it?

If you want to resort to personal attacks and lies, you might want to watch the legs on that card table because it is wobbly. I will be over here with the adults who do not just attack and call other posters racist and pretend they have a history that confirms it that I somehow magically cannot supply.

I thought the conversations was about race? You hardly get more about race than some white guy claiming that since the other team got to have a black guy, you get to have one too.

Come back with more personal attacks and lies about me. That seems to be all I am going to get from you here.

Your last post reminds me of a 4th grade little girl having to have the last word. Why stay focused on race? Move on to policies. Oh wait, your current president doesn’t have too many successful policies in place does he? So you dont have a lot to talk about. Now I know why you keep going back to race.

Thanks for the clarification.

Well said.
So many progressives have become adept at changing the narritive.
Wasn't there even a thread recently about DNC using race to change focus from policy?

Seems like it's used here quite frequently.

I guess, though, when looking at Obama's policies, what other recourse do they have?

They have no other options. Hence the reason FallenWun is so quiet right now. Because we called her/him on it

A patronising point, I think you mean. You of course would claim greater awareness of the issues? I really, really hope you're not one of those arrogant folk that uses the insulting compound word 'sheeple'.

If you want another candidate to win, vote for them. If enough of the electorate feels the same and acts accordingly, you'll get your wish. Don't get all crinkly-mouthed about the validity of other people's opinions just because you don't share them.

I still have faith in Ron Paul; however if our corrupt political system decides to put Obongo back in office for another 4 frickin years, I will seriously be looking into obtaining a Canadian citizenship.

Ron Paul has lots more support than anyone knows because people are obviously trying to keep his credibility as a legit candidate out of the public eye. if he didnt have a shot why would the media try so hard to convince people that he doesn't. If he can find a way to reach more people he can win, and that would be huge

You may very well be right, as a matter of fact I am certain it is not but we have to start somewhere, and if there is anyone who can help on the "inside" it would be Ron Paul" he will at least do what he can. If or when he gets in office, he is going to need the help of the people to clean out the rest of the crooks in congress and senate in order to get anything done!

I wouldn't count out Ron Paul just yet.

The Republican party is dying. It's that simple. Probably an actual tea party will rise soon now indeed.

Here's my 2 cents on the current dog and pony show:

Does not matter who wins, they are all the same. This Republican/Democrat- Conservative/Liberal RonPaul/Obama FALSE left/Right paradigm is just a convenient game for us to play.

*****Remember how that North Carolina Governor "Joked" about suspending elections so congress could just do their job AND NOT be held responsible for their actions??*****

My prediction for the upcoming elections: No woo woo stuff here, just connecting the dots..................

I predict that Obama/ Congress will suspend the 2012 elections due to a FAKE "National Emergency". My personal opinion is that they, (big gov, corporations, shadow gov, whatever), know he Cannot be re-elected in the current environment of big government distrust and rightly so. These arguments about who is the best candidate just divide us.

Pay no attention to the man (corporations) behind the curtain.

Mitt Romney would arrest this wheelchair bound man with muscular dystrophy if he takes medical marijuana. What reason did Mitt Romney give for such a view? None.

Ron Paul has no chance... and the way both parties have interpreted the constitution (though mostly the pro-corporation right) every party neds money to compete, and lots of it...

The chances of any real movement outside of the hands of special interests gaining any real traction is close to zero.

Ron Paul is simply a slightly more popular (right wing) Dennis Kucinich. Imagine if I said to you, "Kucinich will win because he's got great policies and America really needs an honest non-mainstream leader".

You'd laugh me out the door.

He has a chance in the form of change. No different than any revolutionary really. Karl Marx had no chance of changing over 2 billion people in one century to being communists. But his inheritors did. Consider Ron Paul like the Jeffersonian Carl Marx.

Also I suppose I'm all for the big corporations and the lot. But I'm also in favor of rounding up the liars and thieves amongst them every decade or so and shooting them. Maybe that makes me a national socialist. I don't really know. All I know is that it worked. Nations with that mentality certainly saw great social progress for their own people. Simply apply it to America.

The chances of any real movement outside of the hands of special interests gaining any real traction is close to zero.

Arab Spring, Iranian Green, growing Chinese revolutions, the English riots that more or less united a crumbling government. France's Muslims. What was once liberal Europe is quickly becoming more conservative socialism.

Change happens all the time. you simply refuse to see it.

"Kucinich will win because he's got great policies and America really needs an honest non-mainstream leader". You'd laugh me out the door.

Because, amongst other things, he's not for guns. That's a big no no in America. The two are hardly alike beyond a few policies.
