First of all, everyone has to clean up around their own front door. Throw out the ideas and ideals that history has shown don't work: Socialism, Communism, Democracy and Liberalism. The only system of government that has proved anywhere near successful is a hard core Republic, the system on which this country was founded. Stick to a strict interpretation of our Constitution, and get rid of the FED!

Demand checks and balances from the three equal branches of our government. Stop allowing the courts to write laws, stop the president from disregarding laws, and make the legislature step back within their constitutional boundaries. Give the states and the individuals back their constitutional rights. Let the states appoint their Senators as intended, and cancel individual income taxes. Individual income is not a profit! Tax only profits from true unearned sources: Corporate profits, income from savings, rental property, etc.

Close the borders! Make illegal entry a felony and then enforce it! Pass sensible laws to protect workers' rights, and outlaw unions, especially government unions. Stop government from spying on it's citizens without a court order. Bring our military home and defend our country. Get the government out of religion, period. Give education back to the states where it belongs. Let the free market flourish and let the states handle welfare, and get rid of all the burdensome laws and departments:

Now, that should take care of day one. I'll add a few other things for day two later.

"Nothing Spreads Like Fear" "September 9th"

9/9/11 The real fear begins

Has anyone else noticed the word contagion in a lot of financial articles recently?

Let's not forget the basics of the institutions of capitalism. Sure, we can pretend it's the best thing since sunshine, but then I'll accuse you of being tainted by one of the only legitimate psyOps, the RED SCARE. You're still frightened, your parents passed it on to you. There has never been a communist nation on this planet (Within known history). Just remember that. Capitalism is a economic system that basis it self around greed. That's the motivation within the system, greed. I don't blame one man who is tainted by this system. How can I? Forced to work in the Colosseum, what is a gladiator to do but fight? Gaining capital, buying things, collecting and hoarding money at the expense of others. It's really a shame, especially when you shifts from production based economies to serviced based economies. To maximize profits, we outsource to the third world. We seek to pay our workers as little as possible and to give out as little liveable benefits as possible. How do we win this crazy game of monopoly without abusing our brothers and sisters? We can not.

Capitalism is added to that list because it is inherently corrupt as well. Really, a system based around the worst of man's vices, who expected that to succeed.

I do agree with you about the Republic. We need a strong republic, for those, when done right, are almost unbreakable. How we go about creating it is another thing. One more thought, you can call it communism or whatever, but I'd suggest a hybrid model of a strong Republic along with our technological infrastructure supporting all of the citizens. Men are flawed, and so are there means to happiness....however, our creations are something of wonder. This is were our God Nature shows. Our ability to think and create. Our creations can save us. We just need to focus on R&D for about 20 years to set a foundation for automatic labour. Yes, machine labour, across the planet. Shared resources by all nations to create a self sustaining system where all are fed, all are clothed, and all have decent technology. We can make this world beautiful and free, we just have to take the first steps towards that future. The venus project, though far from perfect, creates a society where such is possible. However, I would only take the machine labour aspects of the venus project and combine them with the ideas of a strong republic.

The world can be beautiful, and we can return to sharing what was already here before us...who were we to think we can own a planet or land? That's the territory of the Gods, and we're not there yet...yet. Let us first Unite before we worry about such ownerships.

But let us be honest...capitalism, corporatism, and the idea of money are just as bad as socialism and "communism"

Oh and before any #storm begins, let me remind everyone that we don't have to share the same views on economics or governance to realize the situation we all find ourselves in is undesirable. We can all disagree civilly about how things should be, but we can all agree that things aren't desirable as they are.

Keep it classy, Keep it peaceful, and Keep it passionate.

I agree, there has never been a TRUE communist country, because it, too cannot work because of human greed. Capitalism takes human greed and utilizes it in the only system where it can be controlled by law to some extent, but capitalism at least allows freedom for the individual. Communism supposedly makes everyone equal, and that simply can never work for any society.

With the world population on the verge of seven billion individuals, the future growth of this world has about reached it's limit. We will soon be out of food, water and land on which to grow crops. It's too late to try and set up some utopian world. Food will soon replace gold and other precious metals as the most valuable resource. Building more machines is not the answer. We already have too many machines and gadgets. A one world government will only hasten our demise. The individual must take responsibility for themselves. Taking care of family and neighbors in small units is the only way true sharing is possible.

The "RED SCARE" as you labeled it is not something I got from my parents. I witnessed it first hand and saw what it did to humans. It's horrible! It was run by a group of elites that saw other humans as nothing but serfs. That's because of the greed inherent in the system with no controls offered the populace as a whole.

That first video is the greatest video I have seen posted in about a month - it doesn't matter that it is a hoax interview!. (the other 2 are good too - just watching the anon, now) - 2nd video good explanation of Debt Economy.

- It is straight forward
- It is honest
- It is in terms that everyone can understand
- It corroborates everything we've already been told about the big banksters, wall street, the economy, etc
- It also gives us hope: he's right - everyone talks about the great depression and how bad everything was (and, how things will get worse, this time), but it also created MANY wealthy people who were prepared.

So, what sorts of things should we be doing, learning, collecting, investing in, ...?

Like someone earlier said, staged interview (were the interviewers aware?) or not, that first video is all truth!

[or, is everyone convinced, why bother, either 1) the world is gonna end anyway, or 2) the NWO will be ushered in, and this is just a piece
]

And, am I to believe that, after watching the anon video, that future 'occupy' protests are scheduled to happen in selected US cities? I'll believe this whole things legit, when we see it (notice the future dates on the city 'posters') - no need to speculate merely need to wait and see...

A few October 2nd, but mostly October 6th, and a few October 7th!

We'll see.

Given the current state of our State (no pun intended), something has to change. The Fed has tried and failed. Our states are bankrupt, yet government officials make millions and spend like they have an endless supply of money. Yet, they still take away from the things that our country needs such as education. It makes me so angry to see companies charging so much interest on loans for students to want to be able to go to college.

If this is the beginning of a big change, I say let it come. Pave the way for a better future.

This is the kind of ignorance we are up against as a people. Nothing is factual about this post. No evidence from history can be offered to pretend this is true. The raw, basic, undisputable fact is that modern conservatism is a gross failure. As a nation, we are the poster child of what not to do. Measure wealth creation, job creation, any metric you want -- history PROVES they only go positive with moderate policy. Eisenhower (who by modern standards would be considered a communist since his policy was eons more liberal than Obama's) oversaw a progressive tax rate as his as 90+% for the very ultra top brackets. The lower the tax rate for the rich, the worse is job creation, middle class wealth, national health statistics, educational statistics and even the basic "happiness" indexes.

This poster lays out what is famous as a Right wing tactic -- assert the opposite of reality and call it fact. Here is some fact. The strongest, happiest, healthiest economies and peoples of Europe are those in nations of Scandanavia and Germany. They enjoy free health, free education, no worries that a child's cancer will cause them to lose their home or go bankrupt. because they are not beholden to their employees for insurance, they are free to follow their dream jobs. They enjoy vacations, high savings rates. Hell, germany is carrying the burden for much of Europe and is still healthy, its people happy, free and safe; its economy is healthy. CEOs are not gods in Germany or Sweden/Denmark/Norway. Politicians actually make decisions base on national well-being, not Wellpoint, GM, Exxon or Haliburton's bottom line.

And guess what OP, these are countries people like you call socialists...and you are right, to some degree they are, but they are tons more free than us slaves, their cops don't abuse them, the fellow citizens don't spit on each other like we do here. Yeah, the answer is some rugged ficticious fantasy wild west Republic. Sure thin' massa.

I just want to point out that the initial video of the trader and the one posted later are not of the same man. The first video is with a trader named Alessio Rastani. The second is of Jude Finsterra. Also, I was once told, everyday the world is going to end. There is fearmongering everywhere. The economy is where the real fear should be focused. If the guy is offering advice, you don't have to follow it. Do your own research. The point is, he recommends that everyone make a plan. For many people, there is no need to make a plan only to adjust it as needed.

Laughable: the two guys don't even look the same. And everything the trader says can be verified to have some truth to it.

edit on 28-9-2011 by Wide-Eyes because: (no reason given)

your savings is disappearing as we speak.if you have cash in the bank.interest is not keeping up with inflation.even bill gates lost money.inflation is actually very high right now,it just hasnt settled in to middle america yet.that beast will be more easily visible after the next election.i have the max foodstamps and it wont cover my food bill.thats a leading indicator of the govs fake inflation numbers.the number is way higher.small businesses are struggling to stay open.the future is dim for the next ten years.

Incredible thread, "The One."

The ideas, the passion, the common sense.....................ah, what a breath of fresh air, if we could only bottle these traits of yours and inject them into more of our youth, along with the majority of our middle aged and seniors, we would see what its like to live in a society that truly works and breathe harmony.

My hat is off to your parents, for they have done this world a favor, by what they've invested/ingrained in you.
