Wall Street Mocks Protesters By Drinking Champagne

There are very few people who manipulate and control to gain their wealth .. the majority, regardless of how rich, work for their money. And most "traders" are hard working people .. just day trading myself I can tell you, it can be more stressful and time consuming than any job I've ever had.

So some people sipped champaign and laughed at the dumbasses "protesting" on Wall Street.

Who cares.

The same day I was on my couch drinking wine laughing at the retarded Liberals (self proclaimed "lefties") doing Yoga during "Day of Rage". It was sad. If I were there I would have been taking pictures laughing along with them.

It was the dumbest, most idiotic protest run by the most moronic people I've ever seen. They never could get to the Bull to decide what they were protesting over..

At least they are doing more than others.
At least they are publicly making their demands known.
At least they are out there putting themselves on the line.
All while we are online doing nothing but bickering back and forth.

Protest the favored treatment of the Banks, the manipulation and control, the extortion and the corruption and how the Government favored the banks, how much of ex-Goldmen sat on important boards... protest crony-capitalism!

But do it with anger... do it with real rage.. do it with REAL Americans, without politics, without gimmicks, without absurdity. The organizers of Days of Rage were Liberals promoting Liberalism with the most absurd Liberal gimmicks (the funniest being the Yoga sessions)

And DON'T "plan" it like they did.. hit different cities, on different dates, culminating in a high-profile location like Wall Street. Otherwise people won't just show up at Wall Street because they know the arrest will follow. Build a following by creating a "tour" of sorts.. and outline and ensure the specific demands are known.

You must first have an ideology to gather behind to get a following. You don't create a following to find an ideology.

Give them a break. It has been a long time since we had to do this. We are out of practice. We need to get our bearings and get ourselves psychologically prepared to do this. It is a big step to step over that line and really get down to business and willing to set everything else aside and put their life on the line. We are testing the waters, getting our feet wet and probing the defenses. Baby steps, at least it is progress and going in the right direction.

If history is any indicator to future events, then I am confident that when we protest everyone will stop, look and take note. No one can protest like an American. Look at our history as we have had several protests, there is no stopping us when we get pissed.

You had me agreeing when you said most day-traders work for their money then you went on an insane ignorant partisan rant. I do agree that the protest wasn't great but your extreme judgement is part of the problem. When will people realize there is no single correct answer and both sides have reasons for what they support. Just because someone doesn't support what you think is the correct way doesn't make them idiots, hippies or right-wing extremists. We all have different life experiences and we all have different perceptions which lead us to our understanding about the way we think things should be run. We have come so far as a species yet still seem permanently stuck in this area.

Exactly.

Until we can find a way to at least agree on one thing and not worry about the semantics then nothing will be successful. If we can at least agree that the system is screwed and it needs to be fixed then leave it at that and just remove the system together, then we work on the new system.

Now, I agree with formulating a more solid group, with more thought, more of a structured group, with a complete logic, and reasoning, with a specific set of demands. This, my friend, is a great idea that you have had (though rather obvious).. But, might I add, these are young kids, doing something that they know is right, for the better of the American citizens (which in turn, effectively helps the world population). That, in itself, is commendable to me. Searching blindly for the light is better than sitting in the dark..

This is only the start. I can see a much more organized, extended and concrete group being formed from this one. Are we forgetting what this country was founded upon? Nobody is even looking back at the countries history, this is what Americans are supposed to LIVE for! This is what we do!

Just because they are democrats doesn't mean you need to have a condescending attitude, that's a big part of the problem and both sides are guilty. Labeling them negatively and discounting them because you don't agree with their side of the political spectrum isn't going to help. Have you ever thought that maybe the way you think is just your opinion and the way they think is theirs? Opinions based on different experiences and beliefs? Although I'm sure your brain is already thinking... "No that can't be the case the lefties/liberals are wrong or crazy." A lot of liberals think the same of the right and both are wrong to hold such a position. This is a bigger additive to the problem problem than most other factors.

Reminds me of a joke about a trickle down economy. They drink the champagne, and the urination trickles down on the lower class.

and on top of that, in these videos, whenever i see some twenty-something nyc scenester in their 'protest' outfit, it's an immediate turn off and something i can't take seriously.
