and how dare those companies get tax refunds when they over paid into the system.

OVERPAID!! The traitorous scum that get massive subsidies, don't pay all their taxes in the first place and are bankrupting the American people out of greed overpaid?!

If anyone still doubted that Republicans truly are evil (and that Texas sucks, thank god I got out of there) there should be no doubt whatsoever now.

How refreshing that no longer our political whores needs to hide for whom they actually work for, all they have to do is tell their voters to vote for them so they can win and screw the voters for higher pay interest.

How refreshing.

Most of the information learned in life does not come from school or college. The information is learned from others and actually doing things. The things taught in school is just some of the basic knowledge people should know. Who actually remembers every single thing from every single lesson plan in every grade. THE ANSWER IS MORE THEN LIKELY NO ONE. The schools should not have the money taken away from them. In public schools the education is free but the teachers are not free. People in this world are turning into a mindless drones. The younger population in schools is going to be the people running the world in a few years so why take their education away f rom them. I believe in many things but i do not believe in destroying a civilization just to put more money into your pocket. Hopefully someone with common sense will come into power and fix things.

Schools are just socialist indoctrination chambers, meant to educate the wrethced into believing they equal with the wealthy.

This only gives them false hope.

Tax breaks for companies will give these people good jobs, which is much more important than 'education'.

Teaching is a job too, sadly teachers don't get tax breaks, is it because of this "socialist indoctrination" system?

If all schools became private schools that only teach the rich that can afford it, will the teachers in there get a tax break? Do the teachers there really need a tax break since i imagine they will be paid premium salaries for teaching in these prestigious schools?

Should politicians get tax breaks too? this way poor people can also get good jobs as politicians, which is also more important than "education".

Unfortunatily, these poor people are very unlikly to become politicians as they will not have the necessary education, since there may not be any more poor "social" schools.

However the rich will be quite happy as there will be more poor uneducated people working in jobs and companies that service their needs.

It is in general, a good move for the rich elite, so sad that not many people realize that this move will mostly benefit the people at the top since they happen to own most of these companies recieving these "tax breaks" (banks as well) more than anyone else and while the [bold] uneducated will continue to support whatever plans that the top come up with. [/bold]

I guess an "education" in political science might help more people to evluate and understand these plans better, that is if it is even accessable to anyone else but the rich.

It's these sorts of issues that show a complete lack of conscience from the republican base. Teachers vs Big Oil... of course they're gonna side with Big Oil. Big Oil works hard and teachers are lazy, didn't you know?

Take just about any issue these days and the side lacking in compassion, decency, and humanity is a pretty good bet it's the republican side.

Has anyone read some of the shocking comments that are all for taking the money back from the schools to give the oil companies?

It is simply amazing that there are people that think like these people do. Something evil is afoot in the world and people are choosing sides. Whats really ironic the Christian right is choosing the dark side.

Naa, has to do with peoples first hand experiences in the female supremacist educational system. The whole public educational systems needs to be dismantled, as such a blatantly sexist organization must be ended period.

Whatever keeps oil happy will be the way forward. They fear education as when the populous has a good education can it work together to end oil. This plan will stifle innovation and the inventive spirit of the US.

They want to end solar panels and electric cars.

Still think they represent the people or America?

dont have to like it but thats the way it is tax dollars in texas are being spent in texas on people who should not be there.

Agreed. If these Corporate 'people' should likely get out of Texas if they think they can justify taking money from education.
