For instance... Tea Partiers or Republicans might vent angrily about illegals, make generalized statements about illegals, even go so far as to suggest fences, guns, and land mines. Someone who is a racist will also hate illegals, make generalized statements, and caloused suggestions of violent solutions, so obviously, racists will jump right into that argument with the republicans.
Why would you make the leap to alleging racism when tea partiers talk about ways to curb illegal immigration? Illegal immigration is a problem, would you not agree? It needs to be dealt with. The fact that the overwhelming majority of illegals are hispanic doesn't mean that people who want something done about illegal immigration are racist against hispanics or hate hispanics - it's just a fact of the matter being discussed. Mexican illegals are clearly the single largest problem with illegal immigration in this country, and they get the brightest spotlight.
Sorry if the truth doesn't fit your idea of political correctness, but deal with it. If someone says something like "We need to send all the beaners back to Mexico", then you have an argument for racism.
And since everyone is so uptight and sensitive around here, I'll need to qualify that last statement as an example of racism - I do not condone that type of speech - I just used it as an example. So calm down before you post something stupid.
