Provincial thinking: thinking about things from a local perspective: is it a threat? You have a nuclear bomb. I need A nuclear bomb. You have chemical weapons. I need chemical weapons. I like consuming, you starve. Makes sense but nearly caused ww3 at the time of the cold war. Can we ever stop provincial thinking? If we could should we?
