Watch out. Microsoft has implemented UEFI bios in Windows 8 meaning you need a license to upgrade any part, and every part has a unique license.
Basically, it's going to cost you 2-3x the amount to upgrade parts.
Come to Windows 7, it's still the best OS.

no way. Maybe you mean it won't run any pirated media.

I'm probably gonna go 64 bit because Microsoft just might be thinking 128 bit in the very near future

I heard something about this, and it will mean you can't use Linux. Microsoft can go love themselves!

i dont ever see a time that microsoft doesnt offer a retail version of their software

and given the amount of poeple who like to upgrade their hardware they would lose alot of business going that way.

personally i never like being an earlier adopter of anything i dont have to have the latest and greatest my only concerns is it works and works well.

let other people worry about issues and kinks then after all that crap has been fixed then go for it.

hell i just recently upgraded to win 7 about the same time their service pack 1 came out.
