Freedom is hard to achieve, not only the fight for freedom but the desire for it. It is easy to fall into the trap of dependence, to simply let go control of our lives and freedoms to do so. Allowing others to guide it and choose for us. I would not be for the cause of freedom and individualism if it were not that those who take our freedoms to choose and run our lives had our best interest at heart.

Sadly they don’t, they choose to abuse it for their own gain at our expense. We think they won't, we will choose a leader or side with a tribe who seems to be the most aligned with our ideals and thoughts, sure they will give us just enough to seem like they’re representing us, but behind those close door they decided that they choose themselves first. Then to ensure they keep their power that we gave them, they hand over what is left over in terms of economy and wealth. As for social issues they choose their group over others.

This brings me to the evils of Collectivism over Individualism. Collectivism divides us into groups, which sacrifices freedoms and the betterment of the Individual for the betterment and advancement over the group. We are a tribal species; however it is the Individuals who advance us, not the group. The group is just labor to the Individual. While it is true we achieve more working together, we however are not truly working together. We are working for. Individuals will however work together, to solve a problem and put the plan into motion, and then the labor does the work.

Too achieve our Freedoms, our independence, and our Individualism. We must give up are desire to achieve for the group, our desire to give up our freedom because it is easier to be a slave. To protect our freedom we must insure we never fall into the trap of dependency again. Too keep a constant guard, because once we give them an inch the take it all.

This is Maslow's Theory of Needs. This is how we are controlled. We prevent ourselves from achieving Self-actualization by letting them keep us at the bottom. It starts with Esteem, they make us think that without them we can not achieve on our own. Then the group makes us feel belonged. Then they promise us safety that they can only provide. Once at the bottom they then provide us food and water, base needs making us completely reliant on them. For if they control that then we can not move forward up the chart. Instead of becoming a better human we become cattle at the bottom.

Ask yourself, how far has you’re Government brought you down on this chart? Do you think they won’t bring us down any further? Do you provided all those needs yourself or do you allow someone else too?

This is my second installment on freedom, my signature at the bottom links to the first. If you have anything to add then please do.

Freedom is hard. It's sweat equiy/work eithics. It takes constant vigellance. Constant work. Entropy or a relaxation will walk us very easily into a collectivism before we know it.

Unfortunately, we are almost at the tipping point of people that expect and live on the Government. Politicians use these people to troll for votes with you money. We are a lazy society that never speaks up or does anything about it

Look at Greece. That is us in 20 years.
