For those who aren't familar with it, it's considered the most prestigious grappling event in the world. It only occurs once every two years, and to make it there you must either be invited by the Shiek (8 slots per weight class) or you must win a continent (1 slot per continent, per weight class). So 16 people in each of the 5 weight classes.

en.wikipedia.org...

So, for those who are familar with it, who do you have winning tomorrow?

He won his weight class in 2003 in ADCC. Do you know much about him? He was invited this year for the -98 KG bracket. He's an insane grappler, and has won his first 2 matches.

I'll make picks for over 99kg,

Werdum over Trans
Monson over Juskowiak
Abreu over Hideki
Teixeira over Bunch
Magalhaes over Costello
Bastos over Junior
Rinaldi over Wilson
Airtiheiro over Pietilainen

99+ is least exiciting IMO, even though this would be the class i would be in... if I was at that level.

Fabricio Werdum def Jeff Monson by armbar

Cyborg Abreu def Glover Texeira by Points.

Vinny Magalhaes def Jose Junior Inside Heelhook

Janne-Pekka Pietilainen def Gerardi Rinaldi

Is the first round over or are you just jumping ahead

I looked for the current stats but couldn't find anything. And I'm confused as to the time zones....

This was all I could find (obviously not recent). It would be nice if they had a better place for updates. The one you linked was a little confusing.

Or having ppv would be nice.

Werdum ftw.

They are having a PPV, but it's only streaming online, no TV PPV.

It's here:
