What lies?
My family and I have always done better. There is no need to lie.

What do you mean by service men relying on SS? I don't follow.
Yes, the middle class carries the brunt.
Yes, Bush created the TSA and PA. But, I don't consider him to be a Rep. More Dem then anything.
The PA screams of Govt control. That has always been the mantra of Dems, throughout my life.
The idea that people are to dumb, and that the Fed Govt has to step in, to safe us from ourselves.

But, lower taxes during Reps, lower unemployment during Reps.

Liberals claiming liberals are the only people who give a damn...

Things like that are a shame. Ignorant mud slinging. Why can't people just be people instead of tagging yourselves. Time to get the waders out the BS from both sides is nearly waist deep.

Such a shame.

Two points on the topic of ignorance...

1.

Republicans need to understand that regulation is not sacrilege. Regulation is a fundamental role of government. Everyone knows power corrupts and so it is especially the powerful who must be regulated, so they may prosper without completely corrupting and destroying the system.

Corporations have pretty much taken over the country. It's their money that runs the show, promotes misinformation, and creates buzz. Corporations use their money to change law.

For Republicans to support changes in law which lift corporations even higher, further from our grasp, and to dominate more supremely over us, is only to further enslave ourselves. At this point where corporations control so much, this is a nearly treasonous play that Republicans have been pushing even further, widening the gap between the haves and have nots, and Republican voters have ignorantly supported.

Republicans, please stop saying you are for smaller government when your party created The Patriot Act... something that resembles 1984's Big Brother. Don't tell me you are for less government when your party created The Department of Homeland Security and TSA.

You are only for less government when it allows supreme corporate powers of the elite to control the country, but Republicans consistently support vast government intrusion into everyday peoples' lives.

2.

The environment. I'm not religious but if ever I saw a biblical moment playing out, it is the arrogance of man to destroy its own planet out of his own greed and ignorance. I can so easily imagine future bibles being written about how God created man, and man created money, and man's love for money blinded him from the damage he did to the one and only home given to him by God. How man filled the seas with black oil and the skies with black smoke, only to make more money. How he eventually destroyed himself and screamed denials to his last dying croak.

This is our only planet. We have no other ... and based on Nasa findings... it's quite a miraculous place teaming with life. And yet we allow an island of trash twice the size of Texas to float in our oceans. We politically argue why we don't have to change our ways like a junky who argues why he doesn't have to quit. It's shameful and disgusting. To support a party that unilaterally avoids the topic of clean alternative energy... who's crowds boo at the thought of solar, wind, and other clean energies. To only see corruption when clean energy is brought up but to be completely blind to the greedy motivations behind oil drilling.... This is ignorance at its worst... and Unfortunately, this has become the mainstream view of todays Republican party.

-

So many more examples I could go into of why Republicans have become a party of mainstream greed and ignorance... But this post is long enough...

Yup, a dumb ass, conservative democrat dinosaur, what about him?

Oh, so now the only Democrat KKK member has to be a "conservative". Lol where do you come up with this stuff?

Reality, sorry

In 1946 or 1947, Byrd wrote a letter to a Grand Wizard stating, "The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia and in every state in the nation."[19] However, when running for the United States House of Representatives in 1952, he announced "After about a year, I became disinterested, quit paying my dues, and dropped my membership in the organization. During the nine years that have followed, I have never been interested in the Klan." He said he had joined the Klan because he felt it offered excitement and was anti-Communist."

en.wikipedia.org...

Gee Robert Byrd is anti communist,
who else is anti communist? Oh ya! Liberals

Wait, let's see here

what Robert C. Byrd, 92, a conservative West Virginia Democrat who became the longest-serving member of Congress in history and used his masterful knowledge of the institution to shape the federal budget, protect the procedural rules of the Senate and, above all else, tend to the interests of his state, died at 3 a.m. Monday at Inova Fairfax Hospital, his office said.

www.washingtonpost.com...

The news expected — and news dreaded by Democrats for several reasons — finally came: West Virginia Senator Robert C. Byrd, 92, a conservative Democrat who long was a voice of conscience and independence in his party, has died.

i'm constantly amazed at how many working stiffs think the Republicans have any plans to do anything for them..

keep on dreaming

Demos are the ones to create class warfare, and the ones to define "rich" today its what 250k house hold?
Tomorrow it might be 70k. There are 250k million/billionairs in America and they pay on an average 29% in Fed taxes.

Just what is the common working man for it seems Demo programs are focused on those who do not/will not work or can/will not get out of min pay level work. I know I have a sister like that. I'm a common working man and there is nothing the demos can offer me...

Not to be picky but if you want educate someone please attempt to educate yourself first.

The United States is not a democracy. Minorities have no protections in a democracy nor do individuals.

There is a great distinction between a Republic and a democracy...

YES yes I know that, buddy, but Democratic Socialist types keep saying it's a DEMOCRACY and I'm just going along with the flow of their little game...You just didn't get my irony.

Conservatives give a crap about people as long as they have money. As soon as
that person is not upstanding that same person is a leach.

Um yah that's pretty typical. What you are trying to do here is explain away his involvement in the KKK (woops it was just an unfortunate accident he got involved with those racist Secret Society hooded raiders who burned crosses) because oh, he's really a conservative. By calling him a rogue conservative, you completely blow off the older Progressive view of an entire era, called the Progressive Era, and I've just blown the lid off your argument by showing the Progressive roots of the eugenics movement.
By saying he's conservative, then you can just blow off the reality of what the Progressives of an entire era believed.
By calling him conservative, you and others, suggest that he was not really a Democrat at heart but really a Nazi. He was not Republican though now was he? Why didn't he change his status to Republican?

War mongering and profiteering is far from a Republican only problem....

Dianne Feinstein, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Barbara Boxer.... Democratic war mongering and profiteering happens to friend...

www.alternet.org...

The ignorance being displayed here by both sides saddens me.

Wake up smell the bull#, Washington is a big scam where the few get rich of the many.

You think liberals care more about you than their own status you are crazy. Republican and democrat is nothing but a circus for public consumption.

These people are ALL SCREWING US. There is no good side or bad side no black side or white side, the side anyone in Washington is on is the GREEN side.

Until everyone posting dribble from both parties book of taglines realizes this we are doomed. And everyone throwing out the talking points is perpetuating the ignorance.

Good job

They do tend to act like they are saints, don't they.

I will be the first to admit I am an ass, but some of the liberals on here act like they are champions for morality.

Yes, the Republican and Democratic Parties have long stopped representing the people, but I can't stop myself from responding to these troll threads.
