Why don’t the conservative GOP’ers ever deal with facts and debate the moral aspect of issues that concern people and the lack of morality behind your “ principles”

Because it would expose them as a bunch of goddamn hypocrites.

They worship Jesus, yet if Jesus were real he wouldn't even piss on these people if they were on fire for some of their total lack of compassion for their fellow man and outright moral bankruptcy.

It's hard to take right wing loons seriously. They'd want your mother to die because she can't afford ridiculous healthcare costs and then walk into church sunday mornings singing hymns. Sad and hilarious at the same time

I guess that it also comes with the idea that when inforeal and others are labeled as Liberals, they don't correct the statement.

Beezer and I do. ALL THE TIME.

I'm just saying, it is what it is. I've been called a democrat on here when I utterly despise the party. All because I have some left leaning beliefs.

And yet another shining example of the misinformed.

Bashing people that believe in religion. No better then those that bash people who don't.

This is the type of generalization that we were accused of spouting.

And you call us hypocrites.

Wow dude, why attack a person's personal faith? There are plenty of atheist GOP folks in the world and plenty of Christians on the left. And there is hypocrisy from both.

These are the type of people the OP is referring to. Its best if you read this site while sitting down cause the quotes on here are truly sickening.

Military spending, health care costs, energy costs have nothing to do with why our schools are failing.

Didn't say they had anything to do with it. Health care is out of control, and that is because we already have a socialized system run by the insurance companies, and I think the government would be even worse if we went full Obama care.

My kid had pink eye on a holiday and the only place I thought I could take him was the emergency room to get things started on a three day weekend. I dreaded that with a 1000 dollar bill waiting to happen and a 6 to 10 hour wait. Then a friend told me about a clinic that work on cash only, outside the insurance umbrella. I took my kid there, paid 20 bucks, saw a practitioner within 10 mins, and was on my way to get the meds needed.

Our medical cost is out of control because the insurance companies can charge you 100 bucks for an aspirin and you can't do crap about it. It is not a lack of insurance, I travel all over the world and I have no problems paying cash for medical care. A free market would lower the cost AND limit the need for insurance in many cases. Plastic surgeons are a good example of one group where the cost is based by what people are willing to pay for the service in a competitive environment. Take out the Government and take out the insurance companies and we would see huge reductions in health care cost.

What's that now? I agree with the first half but you lose me on the second. Are you suggesting too much money is being spent on some specific students and not enough on others? Is there one kid with 3 textbooks and 2 kids with none?

No, I meant the money doesn't go directly to the student education process nor the teachers. When I was a kid all the administration were teachers and taught at least part time, even the school's principal. Over head was what was needed and nothing more, but today we see a vast army of "administration" that do not teach, but make 2 to 3 times a teacher salary. This is where our school monies go and why they are mostly failing. Books are cheaper and so are supplies, fundamentals of teaching have not changed other than adding computers in the mix, which are 5 times or more cheaper than they were when they first entered the school system. SO, teaching is actually cheaper today then 20 years ago if we didn't have such a waste in overhead.

Thank you for wasting my time. You not only did nothing to address what you responded to, I am not even sure you are in the right thread. My pointing out the ignorance of our native tongue is far more on topic than this opinion piece about Obama expanding government.
I do not recall advocating for nor even mentioning either. I am having trouble finding them in the OP or their subsequent relevance as well.
Not talking about bigger government here.

You are rude BTW....

The topic talks is about Republican's greed and we just lived through a point where the Democrats controlled the white house and the majority of Congress until the last election that took many of them out. In that limited amount of time we saw the Dems reach a level of greed, spending and wasting like no other time in history. In comparison Bush might have robbed a liquor store, but Obama just rob fort Knox. I find it funny the OP focuses on the Republicans when we have just witness and are living in the fleecing of America by the Democrats.

You know what's really sad? That you actually think that there is a difference between Bush and Obama.

Both men, including their predecessors and political parties, have aided in the ROBBING of this populace.

You cannot call me a communist because I don't mind paying taxes to help the poor and elderly, nor can you call me a right wing loon because I believe in the 2nd Amendment.

Or, at least on the journey to.

Because we all live in this country together and all benefit from what the society offers to all. If we create an unequal environment where only the rich prosper then the overall climate will get so bad that it will gradually affect even the rich’s ability to stay rich. When that happens the society will become dangerous and no longer stable enough even for the millionaires to make money.

Remember they depend on a strong middle class to become wealthy.

We have a social pact here, not just a country where everyone can do what they want while most of the country goes to hell.

Yeah, socialist Utopia here I come.

Sorry, but again, I work to provide for me and mine. Not you and yours.
My work gets translated into a paycheck, which in turn provides for my family. And that is the way it was designed and supposed to be.

Not work getting translated into a paycheck, where I get a portion to provide for my family and to be given away to others by force, to people that I don't get to choose.

That is theft by any other definition. Except when used in the realm of phony Govt instituted welfare.

And we are already at the dangerous and unstable, with what 60 years of our structure going down the path of Socialism.
It seems to have gotten even worse over the past several years. Wonder why??

Yep, all Republicans and Conservatives are Satan's Spawns.
All want to kill brown people, make grandma eat out of the neighbors garbage cans, give babies M16s and chant "USA USA USA" at NASCAR events.

To be fair, that's pretty accurate.

Here is a clue for ya; if you think Republicans have dibs on corruption, greed and self-serving motives, you are naive, and I don't mean that to be an insult, I'm just stating fact. TPTB create this illusion of "left" and "right" but in the grand scheme of things, they all want to go in the same direction.

For instance, Al Gore. His initiative is nothing more than a power-grabbing con. The man went from being an average "Joe", income-wise, to being worth millions of dollars. The people on the left think they are some kind of environmental authority, but the fact is they aren't. The difference is simple; the left is constantly blowing the "Green" horn while the right is quietly going about their business. In other words, the Left wears the T-shirt, the Right prefers to dress nice.

On the business end/financial sect, do think think Obama would be freely handing out billions to Wall St. thugs if they were "Conservative" businessmen? Do you think he would be giving all of those big-wigs a pass on the bilking of our system if he believe they were his opposition? You hear NOTHING of the Wall St. tycoons bashing Obama or the administration, zero. Fact is, Wall St. plays ball with whoever is in office, to secure support for their greed and corruption and all administrations play along. You need to be aware of some key information; many of Obama's key people came from those very same corrupt, failing Wall St. firms. That is a fact. Some came from the corrupt, money-printing Federal Reserve.

You and I have the same goals; we want to be financially stable, have nice things, get along and take care of the planet in the process. Who doesn't want that? When you put all the other crap aside, who wouldn't want those basics? The rest is personal preference and icing on the cake. Here's something to think about; who really creates the division among the masses? Really think about it. Not me. I say live and let live. You do your thing, I'll do mine. I have no idea what my neighbor's views are and I don't care. We're friends, I respect them and that's all that matters. Now, if suddenly, out of the blue they started parading in Speedos carrying Gay Rights banners in front of my door and they started hounding me and making some blanket assessment about me because I'm conservative, of course I'm going to fight back. But the bigger picture is, parading day in and day out won't change a thing! Think about it. If it's laws somebody wants changed, I'm not the person to convince! I don't make the laws! If you think you are going to convince me to go to bat for you and picket city hall, with your aggressive demonstrations, it's not gonna happen. So, really, who would you be trying to convince?

My point is, this divisive dynamic is artificial. It's created and encouraged by the scum at the top so they can quietly go about their agenda and they don't have to babysit us. Trust me, if we could all put our personal differences aside and direct our energy where it needs to be directed, those at the top; the guy behind the curtain, they would be in deep doodoo. They can only ignore a couple hundred million people for so long.

Yep.

The intellectuals have seemed to stampede us to the cliffs edge.

I have always been severely unimpressed with graduates from the top schools of higher learning.
Except MIT and Cal, almost 99% of those that attend the mentioned have proven that they can complete courses, to get a piece of paper with their name on it. All for $90-$150k.

Like a fellow ATS'er once mentioned.

"Most republican are right wing satanist that believes themselves to be compationate christians. "
Due to their ignorance of course but about the greed, i dont know.

So to answer your question. Yes, republican = ignorance.
Anyway to believe in the USA democratic process is another sign of ignorance as well.
