Questionable. The lights seem too widely scattered and persistent. No vapor trail.

Swamp Gas. But being serious now at least no one was hurt, not that NASA cared anyway. Now its all eyes on this big German telescope due to fall on us with a 1 in 2000 chance of hitting someone.

The lights don't look like they're moving to me. I think its just street/house lights on a hill. IMO that's not the UARS.

You might have seen one similar to this one.. but if you watch the full video they clearly gives the date and talk about it being the satellite.

@Phage, I would have expected to see a bit of vapor trail as well, but hard to judge how far away they are seeing it, and the iphone is not the greatest at night shots. Hopefully we will see other videos of it, if they are clustered like that in other examples it would back it up more.

I guess we shall see.. maybe.

Someone here is like me and watch all the dumb UFO video's. I just searched youtube and ATS and there are so many results its making my head spin.

This is a video that was linked in a thread about how the "ufo's" are leaving en masse on this forum. The origional video was way better quality. It showed lights entering a "triangle of lights" shaped object. They were streaming into it from as far as the eye can see.

I'll keep looking for the video linked. This is false information, wish me luck I have a lot to look thru. If you know what im talking about please help me look and if you link the thread. Thank you!

Some Canadians never filmed lights in the distance. Dear lord if you hear me, I want to leave, but not in death. Take me like Ezekiel and Elijah.

I thought that was a very interesting video, but it was really unusual for an entry into Earth's atmosphere.

I'm not dissing it, and I hope it was genuine, 'cus it was huge and that would be most of the satellite right there - we won't have to worry about the dozen or so other 'bits', now will we?

At the 2.32 mark he makes a reference to the date being sept 22nd,

NASA’s decommissioned Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite fell back to Earth between 11:23 p.m. EDT Friday, Sept. 23 and 1:09 a.m. EDT Sept. 24. The satellite was passing eastward over Canada and Africa as well as vast portions of the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans during that period. The precise re-entry time and location are not yet known with certainty.

Its pretty easy to put an audio track on a video.

You cannot be serious that the audio is the selling factor.

You are correct, I went back and heard that he said the wrong date, but.... lets be honest, some people in excitement forget the name of the person standing next to them.

If they had not mentioned the "its the satellite" to the neighbor or whoever it was I would completely agree.

Hopefully there will be more images of the event caught elsewhere.

As far as it goes, this youtube video is the only evidence of this satellite entering the atmosphere. The audio track gets the date wrong and is uploaded hours after the entry?

This is a planned video. They were too lazy to update the audio track.
