I think with all the money NASA gets they should be able to do a better job or predicting how and when this will land. There's lots space junk floating around.

NASA should have taken a few of their billions and came up with a way to track and divert something like this.

I'm calling it quits...I'm drunk, my wife is drunk; hell, my dog is drunk.

If it hasn't hit already, then I am seriously doubting it will make it around again. It was fun while it lasted...

It's possible that #UARS is down by now. (Everybody OK out there?) We're waiting for confirmation from US Strategic Command.

.....or you might get an email from a "prince" whose father was killed by a bloodthirsty group of satellite debris. He has inherited his fathers fortune and it could be yours if you pay 5000 USD to relese the funds...... Damn satellites....

Well, this is good news (assuming it is down). If NASA is waiting for confirmation, then it must not have struck a populated area. Otherwise, it wouldn't take long to obtain that confirmation.

"Well that's not very encouraging, NASA... "@NASA: It's possible that #UARS is down by now. (Everybody OK out there?)"

Makes you wonder how good government will be if they ever have to track an incoming missile.
