I mean was he going to bid for President in 2012?

Sometime of Ron Paul gets into office in 2012, is he going to be doing something like Obama doing? I mean Obama already broke promise when he gets into office in 2008? IS Paul going to do the same when he gets into president in 2012?

Keep in mind that Obama surfaced the Democratic platform almost out of thin air with no prior experience or presence. Ron Paul's positions have been consistent for over thirty years .Show me the proof where Oliar can even claim consistency. NEWSFLASH: You wont find it.
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

Dr. Ron Paul

I think he would try and be stymied by congress at every step or the Kennedy assassinate him on TV...

Dr. Paul is the only hope at reigning in this government even a little...

Here is reality:

There isn't enough oil to continue civilization as the world has known it.

So evil was done...Nuclear power plants build up all over to keep "civilization" going...even though plumes of ionized radiation leave the cooling towers to kill civilization. Nations built their "HAARP" systems to steer ionized radiation away from their cities....hoping to keep 'civilization' going a little bit longer.

Schemes are even done where the Medical Mafia peddles things that will kill citizens...so money/jobs can be created and burdens of 'civilization' can be cruelly killed off.

What Ron Paul envisions is a Rural Society where life is safe and sane. The end of cities, which are unsustainable.

The problem is there are many people who love the money and power they have....killing their fellow countrymen ""to save the country"". Which is a lie. To make up for the millions of Americans they killed off they now have to keep the southern border open and Obama's giving citizenship to +1 million foreigners every single year.

To keep the cycle of death going....so a few can live like kings.

Ron Paul has a better chance of stepping foot on the moon than ever becoming the US President.

I personally think that if Ron Paul does not get elected.....he will still try to change things.

He is strong and steady in his stances...and he has been consistent for many years.

I had to read that several times before I could decipher it. Ron Paul will try to effect many changes, most them good for America and good for the world. But he will be hindered by a partisan Congress unless he wields executive orders like a bat, which I don't see him doing.

I have to agree with several other posters about congress, I don't think he can get even a fraction of the change he wants unless congress gets swept from power in the election to. But i don't see that happening either.

HUGE Ron fan here, but even I'm realistic. Every candidate makes lists of things they wish to fix, but given the past ton of President's growing amount of bs left behind from their term/s, the next guy has all that to muck around in, plus current events going on, plus trying to start up the changes they want to make..... I think most is close to impossible in a 4 year or 8 year period.

Just speaking realistically.

The new President coming in after the old one exits, I'd HATE to see that inbox of waiting goodies on his desk, figuratively speaking. It has to be just unending and almost impenetrable.

Well hopefully though because every president breaks promise and continued the same policy. Obama promise to close GITMO yet he kept in open, he promise to bring troops home fast yet he did not promise so. Ron paul will likely be like that.
