The last episode of HC's Ancient Aliens "Aliens and Deadly Weapons", was the most creepy I've seen. It was all about extraterrestrial weaponry technology in ancient civilizations. They used as reference several scriptures depicting how ancient chemical warfare as the "Greek Fire" and sophisticated swordsmith techniques were given to specific civilizations for taking total advantage during wars. Very impressive texts in Japan, reporting how the astonishing secrets of Katana swords metallurgy were taught to Samurai craftsmen, by extraterrestrial entities. But the most impressive point of this episode, was the hi-tech weapons depicted in the ancient Hindu epic Mahabharata: Stealth Vimana crafts, guided projectiles, heat seeking missiles and nuke devices used by the "gods". This part of the episode had the participation of retired USAF Major General Robert S. Dickman, who also is Director of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

“Gurkha, flying a swift and powerful vimana (fast aircraft) hurled a single projectile (rocket) charged with the power of the Universe (nuclear device). An incandescent column of smoke and flame, as bright as ten thousand suns, rose with all its splendor. It was an unknown weapon, an iron thunderbolt, a gigantic messenger of death, which reduced to ashes the entire race of the Vrishnis and the Andhakas. The corpses were so burned as to be unrecognizable. Hair and nails fell out; Pottery broke without apparent cause, and the birds turned white. …After a few hours all foodstuffs were infected… …to escape from this fire the soldiers threw themselves in streams to wash themselves and their equipment.” — The Mahabharata

That was in Rajasthan, Mohenjo-Daru and Indus Valley. Lots of investigation there and other cities have been done from radiation levels to vitrification.

Very interesting stuff because of the times these events happened at, which is why I for one believe in this.

All he said were a few comments on heat seeking missiles. He did not make ANY comments on ancient aliens or ETs. Besides from the case with ancient India, which I believe to be factual, I find the other ideas and explanations to be pretty much hogwash.

These ancient documents describe perfectly the flight into space even.....
They recieed these vehicles from other beings .Its mentioned that they did not build them.
Ancient India has a wealth of history that the west discounts in it world view.
Truely , when you think of all the great stone edifaces throughout the world, how can we come to the conclusion we are the pinnacle when we cannot begin to duplicate such feats?

Mankind has a propensity in dealing death, and with that said it is my understanding that these 'alien'... or 'spiritual' gifts were originally granted for benevolent uses, which mankind in his quest for dominance and power perverted.

ANY advanced species would have had to have first quelled this barbaric quest for dominance in order to discover such gracefulness... I'm sure it is the very reason why these same beings stay their distance from us today.

as for fire, i think we figured it out on our own.

metallurgy is a different story.

to say the gods gave us fire or it was stolen has to go back many 1000's of years. it could be said it was "stolen" or "given" since it was a natural occurring thing and well known.

running in terror or grabbing a burning stick to bring home?

think of it, were they/we naked and hairless when it happened? it gave heat, light and animals were afraid of it.

or hairy and well adapted to where we/they lived?

the smell of a forest fire would make them think. animals trapped and "roasted" would have clicked some thing in the brain or the stomach. they probably scaved the smoldering remains.

working metals would take a large leap from cooking, heat, light and defense.

something had to spark the metal thing.

who knows, maybe some caveman da vinci is the culprit?

why would we credit others for what we have done?

and to give us weapons to "be like them" is really weird.

so far the parallels rise to the "bomb" including MIRVS and lasers.

anything else we should be looking at that has been done before?

any black hole or nano tech weapons?
