Can someone answer these questions for me? I tried to look it up on the net, but im not sure which bands originally sang the songs.

Im supposed to find out:

1. Which 60's band sang "God Only Knows"
2. Which 70's band sang "Fly Like an Eagle"
3. Which 80's band sang "Caught Up in You"
4. Which 90's band sang "Poison"

Its for extra credit in algebra, thanks guys.

True - him too. That's the problem with song titles. They're usually not very unique.

Can you clear something up for me?

How is knowing who sang those songs worth "extra credit" in school? What kind of class is this?

An awesome class! Didn't you see School of Rock?!?

here are the answers -

1. The Beach Boys!
2. Steve Miller Band
3. .38 Special (ugh)
4. Alice Cooper? (does 1989 count?)

I think those are the "correct" answers teach is looking for.
There are other possibilities - maybe extra-extra credit?

Good luck with the math...

The American school system at work. You get extra credit in algebra by having someone else answer rock trivia.

It's a good thing y'all know how to make bombers.

Its my algebra II class. And, I know its stupid to get extra credit for that, but Ill take any extra credit I can get, without complaint. Another teacher gave us extra credit if we knew his 2 month old son's name. Works for me.
