It was a 3.6:
earthquake.usgs.gov...

And no worries, it was just a 200 year aftershock from the big quakes circa 1812- 1813.

In my opinion, anywhere that has activity, is a threat on the alignment of the planets and baby Elenin. Lol

Thursday September 22 2011, 23:07:04 UTC 49 minutes ago Tonga 6.8 41.0

There was also a 6.8 in Tonga 50 minutes ago, although that spot gets a lot of large quakes from what I've seen this year.

Hmm I thought we kinda collectively agreed no more quake reports unless they are of signifigant magnitude. I mean these "earthquakes" you speak of are NOT ANYTHING NEW! I mean really? A 3.6 mag is reportable, I dont think anybody would agree come on.
New madrid or not it makes not a difference!

Wow, that's a huge quake, did they bring in FEMA to mitigate the damages?

I have been going to usgs for a while now. Its a couple days before the alignment and I live in St. Louis. Of course I'm going to care about it. Plus an interesting thing i just found. Go back and look at the Colorado and DC quakes. Then place a point directly in the middle of the two quakes and see where it comes up.

Ahh
i see whats going on here you are linking this with the "alignment" with a comet? LMAO
Just another elenin thread incognito lol. How many times must people be told ALIGNMENTS WITH COMETS DO NOT CAUSE EARTHQUAKES?Lol good luck I hope you all are safe in st,louis but personally living there I would be more worried about being murdered than an alignment. Oh well to each his own carry on
oh I see from your massive post count you are not actively on ATS to know how many times this dead horse has been beaten

St.Louis has a high murder rate, good lord. It's madness, sheer madness. Elenin is about to drive me into a frenzy.

Wow you guys are merciless.

Doesn't the New Madrid zone really not have many quakes of that size? That would make it noteworthy in my mind.

Thanks for posting OP.
