Poll: 70% of Israelis say Israel should accept UN decision

Israel should accept the decision if the UN recognizes a Palestinian state, about 70 percent of Israelis answered in a recent Hebrew University poll. The poll, which was conducted jointly by the Harry S. Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research in Ramallah, also found that over 80% of the Palestinians support turning to the UN to obtain recognition of a Palestinian state. The survey was supported by the Ford Foundation Cairo office and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Ramallah and Jerusalem.

I know it's only a poll, but still. It once again proves Governments are not serving the populace.

This probably can't happen because it in some fashion probably affects the second coming of jesus and would mess up that whole apocalypse rapture thing that the wing nuts are rooting for.

That what is happening in Israel (and in most countries for that matter) the moderates are the majority of the population and that the segment of the population we hear the less about.

We hear about the extremists all day, but really they are just the vocal minority.

Hopefully the moderate Israelis kick that crazy bastard Netanyahu and his even crazier foreign minister Lieberman out of office as soon as possible!

Nope. Its as much skewed as gallop polls are to favor the candidate or policy desired.

Hebrew university is FAR LEFT; socialistic, and in so an odd way, comptible with Islamic (Islamic law - Sharia and Communism are consontant ideas) interests.

In anycase, almost every religious Jews hates Hebrw University. And atleast 40% of Israelis are traditional/religious.
