He deferred, and didn't pick any of them...

He said he wouldn't even think about that until he was in the top two..

Like I said above, he shoulda played.

I agree

But honesty is the best policy.

But the MSM is pushing a for a ticket early, aren't they?

It's easy if you try
No hell below us

Living life in peace

I know this may upset a lot of people but this is my take:

1. Mitt Romney
2. Ron Paul
3. Gary Johnson
4. Jon Huntsman
5. Herman Cain
6. Newt Gingrich
7. Rick Santorum
8. Michele Bachmann
9. Rick Perry

When Rick Perry said "unless you agree with me you don't have a heart" he might as well have said he was gay.

One of the reasons I like Cain is that he is quick with the "off the cuff" humor. He , like Paul doesn't sound scripted. They both sound honest to me when it comes to these things.

But all their advisors have to have bruises on their foreheads after every debate from the face palms.

Damn I wish I could join tomorrow morning but the more I think about it I won't be able to get back home in time for class. Cutting it way too close, plus the I4 Traffic might not even let me get there in time for 830am.

Make sure and take a lot of pix for us if possible!

I like the the 999 idea to a degree, but think it should be beefed up a bit. It'd make make it easier for people to budget. I know, that's simplistic, but I like things simple.

And what a better way to bring down the Fed than to have a former disgruntled insider to do the job?

That alone would get my vote, but I don't think he's a disgruntled insider.

Cain just doesn't strike me as wanting to rage against the machine in the same way that Ron Paul does, and let's face it, the Fed is not our friend and does nothing to help our situation.

If RP was his boss...well, ya never know. Politicians play their cards close to the vest. Ya can't spoil the game before you are even a player. I think that they would actually get along once they got to know one another.

I may not always agree with you Neo..though many times I do.

You keep things short and sweet and to the point.

It drives a lot of members up the wall I see.

I like that...it keeps the debate going.

Little late aren't ya?

I know AFN is rarely on time. I remember when it was only one channel.

I thought I would see your comments though tonight.

Look forward to your thoughts on it though. Enjoy

Gotta go to work in a couple of hours, Newt does have some great one-liners. AFN has 11 channels now. Kinda like cable, only one or two are worth watching. 0530 here, working on a pot of tea right now. . .

Do push ups!

For all you Megyn Kelly Fans

Also, the candidates came out after the debate, to the Spin Room. Got a quick chance to speak with Michelle Bachmann. She is very sweet and patient, and she literally had people chasing her to give her money? Odd, but she was gracious. Her handlers got her up to the Fox News desk pretty quickly, but I appreciated her taking the opportunity to say hello to me. She actually initiated it, not me.

Romney and Huntsman also spent a lot of time talking with folks. Johnson was doing interviews. Newt and Ron Paul came out at the other end, and I didn't get a chance to get close, but here are some pics of the others.

Everyone seems to agree that Gary Johnson's dog comment will be the soundclip of the night!

I'm packing it in for the night, and going to try to find my hotel again.

For anyone that has never been here, the Orange County Convention Center is ginormous, and I've heard even the seasoned folks talking about how big everything is, and how far it is to walk everywhere. I may never find my car again!

I've often refered to this as a job interview process.
If it were me, I'd be putting Perry's file at the bottom and Cain's nearer the top. Bachmann stays where she was, and Romney? Maybe a little higher.

If I had to chose a front-runner from today, it would be Romney. I still can't stand Perry, I still love Ron Paul, but he is more academic and less personable. Herman Cain jumped way up in my book, and this Gary Johnson guy seemed to have all the right answers all night!! Where has he been?

Yeah it's huge. Hopefully you are staying at the Peabody there. If you haven't seen it you should check out the ducks. Thanks for the updates.
