The strangest and most vivid dream I've had in a long time

But before I tell you of the dream, I need to back up a bit, to say, around 4 weeks ago.

I pride myself on being an avid observationalist. I make it a habit to notice as close to everything around me as possible. I note people, times, dates, cars, trees, homes, calculators, colors, etc. etc. My family has a history of alzheimers and though it may be another 20 - 30 years before I show any signs of this disease, I guess I figure that the more practice I get using my brain may help stave off this disease. But all of that is really beside the point.

As of 4 weeks ago, I've been noticing an inordinate amount of triple digits. Clocks, license plates, my odometer, serial numbers, building signs, etc. seem to show three digits, often different digits, in a row. For example, I have noticed a lot of '111', '777', '999', '444', and so on. Seeing this pattern repeat for a day or two, or even a week, fine, it's just coincidence, but for nearly 4 weeks straight, I kept seeing this pattern of triple digits over and over. I do travel a bit for work, so I get to visit other states and cities frequently. The pattern is repeated no matter where I go. but for nearly 4 weeks straight, this pattern of triple digits was repeated, practically non-stop, from 6 to 10 times per day. Then, the night before last, it stopped right after I woke from a dream.

The dream was short and fairly simple. I was in a crowd of people that I knew I knew, but didn't really recognize. I couldn't name any of their names. Suddenly, time would stop and everyone would freeze. A few moments later, we were all moving again. We all were aware of what was happening. Someone near me said that these were the 'end of times'. A minute later, everyone would freeze again. I could see and think, but not move, and neither could anyone else. This kept happening over and over. Think of trying to watch a video online, where there is a huge lag, and the screen freezes, only to suddenly 'catch up' for a moment, before freezing again. That's the best comparison I can come up with. I wish there was more detail to the dream, but honestly, that was about it.

Yesterday and today, I see no more triple digit patterns. Things seem, for the lack of a better word, normal. I don't know what that dream meant, if anything. The fact that I'm no longer seeing this triple digit pattern since the dream is just a bit disconcerting to me. The problem is that I don't know why it bothers me. If anyone has some insight into my strange situation, I would appreciate hearing your thoughts and opinions. Thanks.

I too have been experiencing the number phenom. I have also had the radios and TV in my home turn themselves on and play a cd or play the radio. I have had weird stuff happening to me.
I had a dream about 2-3 weeks ago that a friend of mine that had/has cancer would get it again and it would come back with a vengeance and infect her whole lower body. Two days ago she found out that it had come back and spread. Rewind to May of 2011 I dreamt that I was given 100 dollars and that this same friend told me she was cancer free. A few weeks later I was actually given 100 dollars...Fast Forward July 2011. She was told she was cancer free. So on a scary note. A week ago I had a dream that it was the fourth of July and well you can read the dream here. It was a clear dream just as the one about my friend was. www.nationaldreamcenter.com...

Thanks for repsonse Out. Dreams are interesting things. Normally, I don't even remember them. There is one other fact I did leave out when describing my dream, and that was that nearly everyone was wearing red and white clothing. I don't remember seeing any other color.
