UARS is now officially off track! T-minus impact on earth. Make a guess where it will land!

Now in the South Pacific, neading northeast towards California.
It'll be there in about 16 minutes.

Any chance of it heading back over the UK before it crashes, it's cloudless outside, and I fancy a peak..

I just witnessed a bright flash in the northern sky when I was taking the trash out. I live south of the southern tip of Lake Michigan. Could it have been the UARS?

I wonder how many people have stayed up all night waiting for this thing to fall, even though no-one is sure they're going to be able to see it at all..

Coming up on So. Cal. right about now.. Showing a slight increase in altitude according to Orbitron (about 150km) and velocity holding as 7.822 km/s.

Just heard a rumbling over north county Dublin Ireland. Sounded like a passenger jet but was a bit sketchy, as in not the usual continuous drone we usually hear. The cloud keeps coming and going so never saw anything. Could UARS have been over Ireland just now. 03.48 am?

California reporting a blue glowing light, that makes me think it cant have reached here so quick!!!!

Any thoughts. Did i just hear an aircraft maybe?

At 9:32 I saw something bright passing by to the north of me off in the distance. It is very possible you saw it too. I really think it was UARS why woul be like this 2 times that I look on the map an go outside an see something unusual in the sky.

Spain gets to see it in 10 minutes, probably France , Scotland, Ireland and eastern UK

As of 10:30 p.m. EDT on Sept. 23, 2011, the orbit of UARS was 85 miles by 90 miles (135 km by 140 km). Re-entry is expected between 11:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, and 12:45 a.m., Sept. 24, Eastern Daylight Time (3:45 a.m. to 4:45 a.m. GMT).
During that time period, the satellite will be passing over Canada and Africa, as well as vast areas of the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans. The risk to public safety is very remote.


Other predictions from other people put it as basically 1 hour from now.
That will be between Australia and New Zealand, or just to the north of NZ.
Its all water. Shouldnt hit anyone now.

Edit - having said that, if it unexpectedly stays up a further half hour, its right on top of North America.

Seems I remember long time ago saw one fall Montana was blue. Not sure thou I saw nothing last pass from seattle.
