its still at 200km altitude (roughly the same altitude over NZ & USA)

and allready over Canada! looks like at this rate of speed will complete another earth orbit??

I say it will land in the Carribean.

How can that be? I thought the darn thing had been loosing altitude slowly since 2005 or so. Why would it be gaining now? Besides, if it's dead as a doornail, how can it gain altitude anyway?

For some reason I see this hitting land.

If it was going to hit the ocean I think maybe they would have told us a week ago or so.

Is this the only space debris in recent memory that they somehow don't know where it will land ?
